I really like this storage container! I had been using just a bucket w/ screw top lid and it wasn't big enough so I went on the search for something that would hold more, but wasn't bulky, was easy to move around/had good maneuverability, and looked decent in my kitchen. This was the perfect option for what I was looking for! I like that it's slim-lined, not bulky, but holds much more than my bucket did! My picture shows how full it is after dumping a brand new 15lb bag of Iams minichunks dogfood...Because it is more narrow at the bottom and widens greatly at the top, it still has about 1/3 room left at the top so it should hold 22lbs as it says. This is the perfect size for us - we don't need any bigger. I left re-usable shopping bags on the floor in the background & put the container next to our kitchen garbage for reference so people can see how this measures up for size. It is the 28qt size that holds 22lbs. The 4 wheels are easy to pop on and they glide nicely and rotate 360 so it's definitely easy to maneuver around & move wherever you need it. The lid has an airtight lid lock which seems sturdy & tight...I can't smell the dogfood so that is a good sign to me that it's airtight! I like that it is "clear" but "smoke" colored so I can see the level of dogfood in bright light but I can't see thru it completely so it still looks nice in my kitchen. Overall, I am really happy with my purchase. I'm not sure why people complain about the size when it clearly lists the dimensions, how much it holds and there are several size options to choose from. I needed something that would hold 15lbs of dogfood so I bought the appropriate size & it holds exactly how much they state. It's a great storage container for pet food purposes and I'm sure many other uses as well!

Works well to keep smart dog that can open buckets from over eating! The lid lock stays in place. Rolls around easily. Quality is ok. It is a container you could keep inside your home if needed. I bought it because my smart doodle figured out how to turn the gamma lids on his food! He could probably break this because it is not strong plastic, but so far so good!

I bought this to put cat litter in because I have a automatic litter box and I need to scoop litter to put in it. This is the perfect size for that and is made of thick quality plastic. It is portable due to its small size and has a easy to open lid . It is sturdy enough that it can be stacked on top of something else if needed. It was a fair price for the storage container. It would also be good for storing dog or cat food for a small dog or cat also.

I ordered the 33 qt IRIS Airtight because its height, at less than 20 inches, just fit beneath the ceiling atop a 6 foot shelf in my laundry room, and I buy various types of Purina cat chow in 16 lb bags. The 16 lb bag filled the container 11 inches deep with several inches to spare. I noticed the "airtight" claim but did not believe it at all, but so what? When it arrived, I could SEE a tiny gap, but again so what? A nice tight fit so it didn't smell up the basement was sufficient. So I ordered what I thought was another one so I could keep two varieties of chow at once. Somehow I managed to order the 28 qt IRIS Premium Airtight instead. I did not see any air gap on this one but decided to see if it was watertight, since (a) I had no means of verifying that it was airtight even if it WAS airtight, and (b) if it wasn't watertight, it sure wasn't going to be airtight. The premium 28 qt container is emphatically NOT airtight. I put a quart of water in it, latched the lid, turned it upside down, and the water came spewing out. Most of the quart was gone in the first 60 seconds, and I estimated the remaining cup or so would trickle, then drip, out over the next hour or so. Would I buy again? Yes, because I want a tight fit but do not need really air tight, and dimensions are perfect for me. I discarded the casters from both containers -- the containers sit side by side on a 6 foot high shelf in my laundry room, and my current two cats cannot jump that high but I can easily reach that high. I did once have an 8 lb female black and brown "money" cat who could effortlessly jump to the top of a 6 foot high refrigerator. She could also catch and eat pigeons, and walk the 1 inch pipe that topped the backyard chain link fence, so long as a squirrel was not traversing the same pipe in the opposite direction but that's another story. The "Premium" container is heavier gauge plastic than the non-premium one, and differs very slightly in its construction, but since neither one is watertight, I would get the lower cost non-premium one. 28 qt or 33 qt both easily hold a 16 lb bag of cat chow (filling each of them 11 inches deep, measured from the shelf they stand on to the top of the cat chow), though I did not verify their capacities in quarts. They look just about the same capacity to me. Simple calculations show that each should hold 20 lbs or even a bit more.
