I've been using this IPL for 3 months almost exactly. I have used it every 3-4 days after shaving on my lower legs, bikini line, and armpits. I am not hair free - if you truly want to be hair free you probably need to spring for a serious treatment. Those are $$$. This inexpensive device, however, has made my hair thinner, softer, less noticeable and slower growing. I used to shave, get out of the shower, get goosebumps and almost immediately feel stubble. Not anymore. I can go about 3 days before seeing hair and about 5 before it's bothersome enough to need to shave. For the price and effort involved, I'm very satisfied. P. S. I've also started using it on a lower level on my face to knock out hormonal acne and minimize rosacea redness after noticing how it cleared the skin in my bikini area of bumps. Definitely go low and slow should you try that, but it's working great for me.

I bought this after my sister convinced me that IPL was the way to go. Pros- its light weight, the grip for holding isn't too bad, gear 5 doesn't get too hot after 15 min Cons- after 9 weeks of 3 x week use, I still have some places that are not really affected by use, I did burn myself twice when it was getting close to 15 minutes of use, I hate the glasses. For my forearms and legs, it seems to be halting the growth, for my underarms and bikini area- seems the same. I used 3 x week for 9 weeks and once a week after that. I guess not shaving my legs so much is a plus, but would love to see more effect in the other areas.

My friend told me about laser hair removal, she really liked it, so I decided to order this once and give it a try. It's a great small size. I only wish in the future that they create one without a wire being attached to the wall. I will be looking out for that. As far as using the item, I tried it first on my upper leg to "test for reactions", and it kind of shocked me a little bit which did hurt a little. Feels like you're touching a very hot lamp. I tried it later on around my ankles and it felt less painful, so I am not sure the tool is not reading properly, or I have sensitive skin. Customer service is really fast and takes good care of their customers!

It is well packed .The box comes with instructions, a razor,glasses and charger. You just plug it in and start using it . I don't know about results yet but so far no redness or irritation after first use but put it in level 1 to begin. I will update the review after 8 weeks when you're suppose to see the difference. So far so good. The instructions were really hard to follow but I made it through okay. I got I all set up and tested it on my shoulder and leg. No irritation to speak of. It looks like the technology is fairly straight forward so I'm sure it will work and the exact results vary from person to person. Using my best guess of their recommended settings, I didnt feel any pain and at most just a little sting. Id recommend you start slow and maybe look at some other sources too to guide you.

I have been using this device for 2 months about 3X a week. Works well on the light color thin hair but not on course chin hairs. Hair still grows back but not as quickly.
