I’ve been using regularly for a month now and to be completely transparent I don’t notice a difference in hair growth or anything. I do notice a few new freckles in the area I’ve been treating. I’ve used other Ipl devices before for hair removal and know it doesn’t stop growth overnight but if this device works it takes time. As of right now I don’t see any improvement in less hair growth. But I do have to say aside from functionality the device has cute colors.

The packaging feels premium, with a sturdy box and attractive printing. Inside, the box is only partially filled, and the plastic tray seems lower quality for the components it holds: - a disposable razor, - power supply, - the IPL device - an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper, print on both sides via a color inkjet printer, that is then is folded into thirds. The printed paper wa a bit of head stratcher for me, but it was better than some other device instructions with better paper and printing where the font size needs 10x maginification to read. As for the device, initially I did have a bit of trouble removing the protective lens cover, but it came off, I was able to freely place and remove the cover at will without issue. When powered on, the device emits a noticeable more industrial fan sound. The device setup is straightforward, and the LCD display clearly shows the settings as you press the buttons. Using the device can be a bit tricky because it’s best to keep your eyes closed, hold the device securely, and press the correct button. I tried the device on the face at the lowest intensity settings. Based on past IPL eye treatments, this IPL device has the similar sensations to that of the professional IPL device used in my eyes treatments: - pulse / flash - sting - heat The large half filled box left me wondering if additional items were originally planned but removed to cut costs and it was just cheaper to use the original packaging and redesigning it more closely match the contents. It would have been nice to have protective eye gear included, something similar to what tanning salons provide.

I have used this many times over a few months. And the results are minimal at best. I have had professional hair removal, and by no means was I expecting that level of result. I was just hoping to address a few areas of regrowth, small sparse areas. The device itself is not painful to use, at least to me. A slight discomfort but nothing intolerable. The directions are hard to read but I am familiar with these so I was able to plod along. I started at lower settings and increased to full strength and after multiple uses, really no results. So while inexpensive, potentially ineffective. Might want to invest more for results.
