I just had an open abdominal surgery and this chair is such a blessing. I had high expectations that it would be a help, but this chair has surpassed those expectations. I have a difficult time getting in and out of the bed and our couch, even the hospital bed was a challenge. This chair had helped me immensely! I am so grateful! I did not think I would even use the USB plug. However, the location is perfect and I have been using it the entire time. I love the color and the texture of the fabric for this hair! It is a soft fabric and I love sleeping in it! The size is perfect for me. I am 5'4 and unfortunately 200lbs. (I have short legs and a long torso.) The cup holders are very handy (Cell phone in one and shaker bottle of water in the other) and the side pockets are perfect for a clipboard of paper. I like jotting down notes on paper, when I prefer not to clutter up stuff in my cell phone. The clipboard of paper allows me to do just that and it slides easily into the side pocket. This review may be more than anyone wants to know, but I am thrilled with this purchase and wanted to share. Only negative was the shipping on the chair. The bottom half arrived initially and there was a long wait for the top half, but in my opinion, well worth the wait! Buyer beware: It arrives in two boxes and this could happen to you also, so just be prepared for such an incident. Again, worth the wait in my opinion!

We ordered this for my elderly dad, who was declining in health. He didn't end up using this chair for long, but it was very handy while he was able to use it. It was better than expected for the price, especially the cupholder, as silly as that sounds. We didn't see any other chair with that feature and my dad liked it for keeping water within reach without tipping it over. A relative liked the chair and was able to use it after his death, too. It's been a year now and one thing I remember is how fast it actually was delivered. Many pluses!

The chair itself is good quality and fairly sturdy. Unfortunately when you buy a chair online and are unable to actually try it, your only remedy (if it is not a good fit) is to return it. It took several email exchanges with the company, before they would tell me the location of the nearest return point. And because the issue was my short wife (5' 1" tall) not being able to sit comfortably in the chair, they were going to charge me a restocking fee. So FEDEX return shipping of approximately $250 and a restocking fee, I realized that there really was no return policy covering an ill fitting chair. It really is a shame because if you order a chair online without being able to try it, you count on a good return policy. I have all the original packing material and, per usual, would have meticulously repacked the item for return shipping. If you are debating whether this chair is a good fit for you, be aware that you will not be able to return it.

This chair is fairly comfortable. The seat is a little hard. I figure after I sit in it more it might soften up. The heat and message are nice. If you're expecting a really good message, don't. You can feel it,but not like a messaging seat pad. I do wish it laid back a little further. I'm having back surgery in a couple months and was hoping if I needed to I could sleep in it. Overall, it is a nice chair and would recommend buying it, if you're okay with the small details I did not like about it. My cats love it, if that helps. (: I need to revise part of my statement about the message. I kind of jumped the gun about the message. The message is good, you just have to pick the right mode for your needs.

My mom just got a hip replacement. The bone was dying and she has osteoporosis and was so uncomfortable and in so much pain for days. There was nothing that gave any relief but this chair was a godsend. She’s been singing praises about this chair. I would add a video of how much she loves it but she’s still vain about her looks. It’s so comfortable and so much easier to get her up and down. She’s also been sleeping in it like actually sleeping so I could also sleep because she’d be up all night and end up needing something. It got to the point that I started dreaming of it

I have a relative that is 92 yrs young. she still gets around with her walker but she has trouble sometimes getting up from a chair. He leg muscles are weakening. This chair really helps for that. You may to do a few test runs, because I notice she got a little nervous when it started to lift her upright. But as long as someone was there when she tried it, she felt better about it. Now she does it all on her own. It just gave her a bit more independence! It's very important at her age!.. Thank you!
