Get multiples and don’t be afraid of the white! All my friends went and bought some too! I have light colored white & gray quartzite countertops and the white really blends in beautifully. I was afraid of staining, but that is not an issue at all, even with greasy foods. The silicone wipes up like a dream and is super easy to keep looking new. I used my heavily during my daughter’s wedding week. I bought 6 of them and had them plugged into a little surge protector and into my standard kitchen outlets. I had no trouble with any breakers operating up to 6 at a time! I had food catered in those big aluminum trays like the ones you can buy at Sam’s Club or Costco. Each warmer can hold 2 of the half sized pans or 1 full size pan. If you use standard 13 x 9 baking dishes, you might be able to get two tightly on one mat, or you’re ok with some of the sides hanging off a little bit. They kept my food super warm and are super easy to set up and later clean up and put away. They roll nicely and have a Velcro strap to keep them rolled tight. They come with a little draw string bag…the kind that is made of fabric that feels like a cross between paper and cotton. I have taken mine in and out of the bags at least 6 times already and they seem to be holding up ok for now, but don’t expect the storage bag to last for years. These mats seem indestructible! The silicone material is identical to a really smooth to touch silicone utensil or spatula you buy at the store. They were the #1 asked about thing in my entire home for all of wedding week. I sent the link to so many friends and family; everyone was so impressed by these little beauties! They really took the pressure off me for hosting. I didn’t have to worry about flames, wind, fuel, or those super unsturdy temporary metal stands for my cater at home events. I use mine for brunch, buffet style dinners, Super Bowl parties, and big holiday meals. Any flat container that’s made for the oven or microwave will be super compatible with these warming mats. I did not try any other brands. This is my first experience, and I’m a lifer! I’ve got several of them and so do my family and friends, and we’ve never had to return any. As far as storage space, rolled up, they are about the size of a thin converse shoebox, roughly about 5 inch x 12 inch, and they stack nicely on top of each other in a cupboard. Too tall to keep in a standard kitchen drawer.

I bought this item in the fall of 2024 and have used it numerous times since then. Recently I discovered a new bonus use for it when I was baking bread. As I had to preheat my oven to bake the bread, I used this warming mat for the final rise for my bread. The adjustable temperature feature allowed me to set the temp for 104 degrees. I put my bread pan with the dough on the warming mat, covered with a towel, and within a short while the bread had risen perfectly and was ready for the oven. Happy baker here!

Great mat and does get warm but not warm enough for my glass baking dishes. It’s best to use regular plates or metal baking pans with this mat if you really want the food to stay warm.
