I did purchase the exact brand of my old one, but they must have changed it because it was louder then the old one and my ears were ringing afterwards. I usually air-dry my hair but knew I wouldn’t have time while I was out of town, so I bought this compact dryer. The lengthy cord stops it from truly being “portable,” though. Also, there has got to be better placement for the heat button. I kept inadvertently changing it from hot to cold.

The haired is great. My hair dries quickly and smooth . The only thing that I am unhappy about is that there is no diffuser with it. Even though it shows on the instructions.

It’s nice that it’s not as loud, but don’t feel like hair drys any faster or better. Heat settings very limited. Depending on how you choose to see it …the hottest setting isn’t hot at all.
