2nd Edit! I had an issue with this chair, but the customer service from this seller was amazing. I highly recommend these chairs as they are sturdy, a great value, and the customer service is so good. The instructions were fairly detailed, but assembly was not “easy” without an extra set of hands. The chair feels solid once it is put together, but the design makes assembly more awkward than it could be. I managed to do it alone, but having a second person would have helped a lot, especially when attaching the backrest to the seat cushion. Because of the padding, I had to really squeeze the material together just to get the threads to catch. Also, the alignment on some bolt holes were really hard to place. The good: this is a large, heavy chair, and at 6 feet tall and around 200 pounds, I fit comfortably. The seat is both deep and wide, which makes it very comfortable. The wooden frame feels sturdy, stable, and well built. The mediocre: the fabric is inline with the price point, but not overly premium. Also, the exposed bolt holes could easily have been covered with small wooden plugs or dowels, which would have improved the overall appearance a lot. I am also not convinced the seat angle is perfectly ergonomical, but because the chair is so roomy, it is still comfortable when you lean back a bit. rarely leave reviews, and I almost never leave negative ones, because I understand that even good companies can occasionally fall short and that a single bad experience does not necessarily reflect a business as a whole. However, I believe there is a significant difference between an isolated customer service issue and a business model that lacks transparency. My experience purchasing the INZOY Mid Century Modern Accent Chair with Wood Frame for my father was so disappointing that I felt compelled to share it so other customers can make a fully informed decision before buying. The chair itself was not the right fit for our needs because it sat much lower than expected, making it unsuitable for my father. We assembled it on the day it arrived and requested a return the very next day. During assembly, we also discovered that the holes in the seat covering did not properly align with the holes in the chair’s base. To install the hardware, we had to pull the seat covering significantly to one side so the holes would line up, leaving noticeable wrinkles in the seat cushion that detracted from its appearance. In addition, the approximately nine-inch upper backrest support does not aesthetically integrate with the chair’s wood frame. Its proportions and placement make it appear disconnected from the overall design, resulting in a finished look that does not match the product photos or the expectations created by the listing. The chair cost approximately $120, and nowhere on the Amazon product listing was it made clear that customers would be responsible for return shipping costs if the item was returned for a non-quality-related reason. Only after requesting the return was I informed that $40 would be deducted from my refund for return shipping. For a large, heavy item, this is a substantial charge that should be clearly disclosed before a customer makes a purchase. Another issue was the packaging. The seat cushion arrived vacuum-sealed in a compressed plastic bag. Once opened, it expanded, making it extremely difficult—if not impossible—to repack everything exactly as it arrived. The seller required me to send photos of the repackaged boxes before issuing a return label, explaining that they wanted to ensure the boxes were not bulging so FedEx would not charge additional fees. This added unnecessary stress and inconvenience to an already frustrating return process. To make matters worse, the seller initially offered only $15 for me to keep a chair that cost approximately $120 and was unusable for our needs. The seller also closed the return case before giving me an opportunity to respond, which I do not consider acceptable customer service. Ultimately, the seller issued only a partial refund of $76.17 and retained $40 for return shipping. During an earlier conversation with Amazon Customer Service, I was informed that Amazon would reimburse the remaining $40. However, when I contacted Amazon again on July 16, 2026, I was told that Amazon would not honor that resolution. The explanation I received was that because I had agreed to keep the chair, I did not have a shipping receipt to verify the return shipping cost. I explained that the seller had retained the $40 rather than requiring me to purchase return shipping, but Amazon nevertheless declined to provide the reimbursement that I had previously been told I would receive. During that conversation, I also shared with the Amazon representative that this experience had made me hesitant to continue purchasing from third-party sellers on Amazon. After reviewing other customer feedback, I found multiple reports describing similar concerns regarding unexpected return shipping charges. I encouraged the representative to review those customer experiences because they reflected many of the same concerns I encountered. Given the number of similar complaints, I questioned why this issue had not been addressed more proactively. Had the return policy and potential return shipping costs been clearly disclosed on the product page before purchase, I would never have ordered this chair from this seller. Transparency is especially important for large, bulky items because return costs can significantly affect the overall purchase price. This experience has significantly affected my confidence in purchasing from third-party sellers on Amazon and has even caused me to reconsider future purchases through Amazon as a whole. Customers deserve clear, upfront information about all potential costs before making a purchase. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling frustrated, misled, and ultimately disappointed with both the seller’s handling of the return and Amazon’s resolution of the issue. ... show more

Best chair by far for my room! The size is perfect for a single chair in the corner of a room, filling the space with a simple and modern look. Very pretty chair. It has a Pottery Barn look to it and it’s comfortable. Solid wood arms and the chair feels very sturdy. Pilot holes were slightly askew making assembly challenging. The cover of the cushion does not go all the way around the cushion and is mainly secured by Velcro, but the Velcro is only on two sides instead of all four. Some definite product flaws that could be fixed to make this a really great product. ... show more

Ok so this chair is wonderful for the price it’s at! The fabric seems really durable for cats and kids. It took maybe 15 minutes to put together which was great. The support on the back is a little lacking but just get a bigger lumbar pillow and you will be golden. It’s beautiful piece and honestly looks like it would be a ton more expensive than it was!
