    • Big Fat Chunky Watch That Doesn't Say Pardon Me.
This is a very heavy chunky watch. I have two of the same watch, when this watch first came out it was nearly 500.00 and now its under 200.00. This is a nice 200.00 watch, It is not worth 500.00. This is an eye-catching watch that looks higher end than it really is. I'm 6'3" and a little over 300lbs. This watch works for a bigger guy but may look a little comically massive on a smaller wrist. The leather band (looks cool) and will last about 4-5 years before it will need replacing, I managed to keep my old band in-tact for 6-7 years but it was coming apart. The band from Invicta is 90.00 plus 10.00 shipping....You can buy the watch new on Amazon for 180.00 so not sure if the band is worth the cost. This is why I just went ahead and bought it new again. I tend to think of this watch as being economically like a pair of good shoes, except for my wrist...keep it 6-7 years then get a new pair/watch.....I get comments about this watch from men and women alike. It's no Omega or Rolex by any means, so don't fool yourself, I doubt it's as good as a Seiko dollar for dollar.....who am I kidding... I know a Seiko is better made.....but for maximum visual impact this watch delivers...and let's face it....in your circle of friends nobody cares what's on the inside...It's all about the looks. ... show more

This is one bad ass watch! The construction and craftsmanship put into this timepiece is phenomenal. I am constantly being stopped by people wanting to bask in it's glory. This truly is an heirloom to be passed down. I collect many watches but this on has quickly became my favorite. It is huge and heavy! If you have some wimpy scrawny arm, this is not the watch for you. I am 6'3" and 290lbs and this watch looks proportional to my body. I would not recommend this for the tiny guys as you may fatigue quickly from the weight! I LOVE THIS WATCH! ... show more

This is my first oversized watch by any company so I have nothing to compare it too except my own raw experience and of course being familiar and owning other brands of luxury watches. First of all this is a wrist clock. The size of this thing is daunting. Its heavy but the weight did not bother me much in fact I liked that feel of brawny manly weight. The leather watch band is great and goes well with the copper colored bezel. The construction is that of a tank. Its rated at 1000 meters water resistant. This is well over 3 thousand feet. I wanted a watch that I could abuse and beat up on and this tank of a watch seems to fit that bill nicely. The machining of the steel is top notch. Changing the band should be easy given the screw configuration it could be done at home. The first day I wore it to the hospital where I work patients and staff alike commented positively about my Venom wrist "clock". I love the way it looks and time well tell about the durability of this time piece. If any abnormal wear issues occur I will update this review. I had to dock it 1 star because they way that the bottom curves is a bit exaggerated and the pushes into the outside or lateral bone of the wrist. Thats the part of the wrist that has the ball joint sticking out. This rubbed on it in an uncomfortable way. Pushing it up higher on the wrist does help somewhat. My wrist is about 8.5- 9.0 inches and I think a smaller wrist would accommodate this watch better. You might think the opposite but my experience with this watch proves otherwise. Is this issue so bothersome I would want to send the watch back or even take it off and not wear it much ? No. It's not a game killer for me. However it can be distracting at times when it rubs up against this bone. It is not a band issue. Changing the band will not solve the issue. That said I love this muscle watch. I do think this is quality at a discount price. Would I buy another one with this type of structure? No I would not. Could I be persuaded to buy another large big faced wrist clock? Yes absolutely. All in all the aesthetics are stunning and it will get noticed. Final verdict -- recommended especially at this price point currently 299. Nice job Invicta. Now if only the reviews for customer support were positive.... BTW this watch is useless in the dark which means its a show piece not for actual diving where the lumens rating is very important. ... show more

What can I say ? I am thrilled to have finally been able to receive my "VENOM 0359" it's a little bit that I plan to buy but as Amazon does not deliver in Cameroon where I live it has always been very complicated. Now I received it in Cameroon the day after delivery to Paris which is exceptional. Now speaking of the "Beast", she is exceptionally beautiful, virile, she has mouth. it makes you want, it gives confidence and unlike what I've read before, I do not find it as heavy as what the other privileged have described, maybe their comments just prepared me to receive this weight. Still, that's exactly what I was looking for and I especially hope that the pleasure will last a long time. For lovers of things that are out of the ordinary I highly recommend. ... show more
