Pros: - It came charged right out of the box. - The scooter arrived a day ahead of the scheduled time. - I love the adjustable handlebars - The beautiful RBG changing lights on the front bar and deck compliments the ride. - easy to assemble right out of the box. All you have to do is install the handles and you’re done. - for ages 6 and up however, make sure your child has already used a non electric scooter and has learned to balance well head of time before buying them this scooter. My daughter has been scooting around on a non electric scooter for years. - There are 3 speed modes. Eco, D, and S. Eco- 5mph, D-8mph, S-12mph. - This Invanti Scooter felt durable and I’m impressed with the build quality. - The scooter weighs approximately 17-22lbs. So my 6 year can still pick it up. - I love the safety start embedded in the scooter. In order to accelerate you have to push off the ground first to obtain a speed of approximately 1.8mph before the accelerator will work. - This scooter rides smooth and comfortable on hardwood floors. Will test drive it on Christmas Day on concrete to see if there’s a difference. - The Eco Speed (5mph) is fast enough for a 6 year old and myself. Once I engaged the accelerator it took off fast for a 180w scooter. Cons: - As other reviewers stated, I wish the handlebar was made of metal or steel and not plastic. Especially since accidental drops will occur. However, knowing my daughter I bought insurance on the e-scooter. - There’s a screw head underneath the rear brake fender that rubs against the tire when it’s pressed down. I feel as thought the head of that screw will wear down the rear tire. However, I will provide an update after we test drive it outside. - Lastly, only because of esthetic purposes I don’t like the screws showing on the front handles. It should be facing the rider. Overall, I’m in love with this scooter! And I know my daughter will be too!

I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly. Why I ordered this item: My kid has wanted an electric scooter for a year and I keep kicking the can down the road. Well, now she has one! Likes: * This scooter is HEAVY. I was impressed when unpacking it. * Assembly was pretty straight forward and only took maybe 10-15 minutes. * It's FAST. We had to make my kid promise to keep it on the lowest setting until we feel she is ready to upgrade. * The lights look cool. She looks like a rockstar when she rides it around our neighborhood. * Our street is around 1/2 mile long, so she will not be maxing the battery out but it lasted for around 70 minutes of her riding around outside with me. The battery life is plenty for what we need. * The metal parts feel durable. No likes: * The plastic parts feel kind of low-end. I'm worried that it will not hold up to a rough kid's activity. The plastic does NOT feel durable. Would I pay full price for this product: Maybe? I want to see how it holds up over the next 12 months. Final thoughts: This kind of makes me want to get an adult-sized scooter for myself. She is having a ton of fun with this and I would like to join her to recapture my youth.

I actually got this for myself. I’m an adult at 5’-4” tall is this scooter is perfectly sufficient. I like the built in light for safety when I ride at night. The scooter is very easy to assemble. Just unfold it and attach the two handles and you’re ready to go. There are two tabs, the right is an accelerator, the left is a brake. To activate the acceleration or to brake, you simply just press down of either of these two tabs. The handles are stationary and you don’t twist them for acceleration. This took some getting used to. There are no brake handles so braking with the tab feels a bit weird. However, you can also brake by pressing down the back wheel cover with one of your feet. I like that the top speed can be capped if needed and the battery life is pretty decent. One thing to note is that in order to activate the accelerator, the scooter needs to already be in motion which is great for not accidentally set the scooter moving accidentally. I also like the fact that I can fold this down and fit it in my locker at work. I don’t have to find a place to park it or lock it away. This is a good value and would make a perfect gift for children and shorter adults alike.
