A dual-axle allows for conversion from 19.5" to hemi seat to floor height of 17.5". Flip back, desk-length, padded arms allow the wheelchair user to pull closer to a desk or table with ease. 14-gauge cross braces add durability and strength. I bought this type of wheelchair for the low back, I already have the SX5 Wheelchair with a higher back. But it was hard to reach behind me, The lower back makes it so much easier. I also switched the armrests from the old chair to the new chair. I don't care for the new armrests, they feel shorter. But it may be all the bends in the pipe. ... show more

Thair oporates smoothly and well. This is the third Invacare chaire I have owned and is far, far superior to another brand the medical equipment company sent me which after using for a short tome went rigt back. Thsis my first time with the nylon apolstry and I like it. It is cooller and much easier to adjust in than the vinyl. ... show more

    • Component quality
This is a good chair but some of the hardware components are lacking. Specifically the locking nuts used on the brake’s constantly work loose and cause loss of nuts, bolts and washers. A better quality Nyloc nut would definitely improve this product.

I like the chair mostly for the ability to maneuver through a small space. Also, it is comfortable, it supports my back.

This is the 2nd. wheelchair that I purchased from this seller. It should have been exactly the same as the first one. But, I was very disappointed to see the "very large ugly gray" front wheels on this. Not only are they ugly, but they make the chair hard to maneuver. Had to return this one.
