Last summer I was struck down with a horrible pinched nerve. I could only walk about 3 feet and was extremely hesitant to have back surgery. I ordered this because I was too hobbled up to assemble anything. It arrived all put together in a big box and I finally had freedom to get around.     • Well built
We had to send the first one back because of a broken part. Making this part of plastic seems silly but the replacement was quick and fairly easily done. The wheelchair is sturdy, maneuvers well, and is easily transported.

    • Check the front wheels ASAP
First, I want to say that I really like the Invacare wheelchairs and would highly recommend this brand of wheelchairs. They are very dependable. However recently, I returned a prevuous Invacare wheelchair that I had purchased with an issue with one of the front tires making a clacking noise while using the wheelchair. I then ordered a different style Invacare wheelchair as the one I really wanted was not available at the time. Again, Invacare, thinking just a fluke. But, after receiving this new wheelchair, I am very upset that this new chair hasnthe same issue, but with both front tires!!! And the noise is loud, and continous. Since I had not startednusing the new chair after realizing it was to late to return, because the new chair needed seat adjustments, and hadnto wait to getbit fixed. So, my son came over and we decided to replace the new front tires with the old wheels from the old wheelchair. No noise when the new wheels had been replaced!! Now, I have a backup chair with no front tires. After adjusting the seat to fit, I am now sitting on the bars that are located under the seat. Not comfortable at all. ... show more

    • Leg Rest Included
The product comes with leg rests. It doesn't say it comes with them. It is also not pictured with leg rests. While it comes ready out of the box if you have to make adjustments you might need extra parts and the book is not very helpful. If you know this is the right size then it's a good chair.

    • Worth the money, if fits my purpose well.
I am wheelchair bound for foot surgery for awhile. I looked at many and for the money it is wonderful. I have to use one frequently so it’s nice to find a sturdy one.

    • The Worst Brakes Ever
The wheelchair itself is fine, but the brakes are cheap and terrible. I started having to tighten them every two weeks only two months after buying it for my mom. Now after four months, I replaced them entirely because they were totally unsafe snd useless. In addition, they lock when the user pushes the lever forward, leaving it in the way when transferring to another chair of toilet. That’s only the case if you add extension handles to the brakes. The replacement brakes I bought lock when pulling back. Much better! ... show more

Front wheels were defective and I contacted Invacare for replacement in April. It is the Middle of July and I have not received replacement wheels. The chair itself is of good quality except for this defect.

    • LIGHTWEIGHT AND NOT TOO BIG
I purchased this for my mother who is 92. I have RA and my hands are not too strong so I needed something lightweight to get in and out of the car. This is still heavy for me but much lighter than most of the models out there. It is quite comfortable and a good size for her. She is 5'5 and weighs about 145. ... show more
