This camera was a mistake! It arrived by Prime, promptly two days after ordered, that is the best of what can be said. I opened the box and was struck by how it seemed to be made of the cheapest sort of plastic, but hey, other people seemed to give it good reviews and for the price, I was happy to give it a chance. I attempted to insert the battery into the designed space, only to have the plastic part that was made to hold the battery in place for charging, fall out into my hand. no charging was possible at that point. I also realized, after trying it, that the charging cord did not fit into the port properly which also would have made charging impossible. later, after checking out what was to be included in the box, I came to realize that the "smart card" was also missing. I wish I could tell you how the camera actually works, but I wasn't able to get far enough to try it out. Buy this item at your own risk, If I could rate it less than one star, I would. ... show more

After using it for a week or so I noticed that some of the pictures came out unfocused even though it was on the automatic focus setting. I also realized that the tripod connection was slightly recessed from the bottom of the camera so it made it difficult to screw into the tripod I had which is a standard one. My overall rating is that this camera although inexpensive is not a quality one for taking the types of pictures I was interested in pursuing. ... show more
