It's the end of July and I've had this product for a month and I have to say it does need air- even if you don't sit in it after about a week. The only negative I have for this item is I wish it were higher so that it's easier to get out of. I hope INTEX Will consider making a second model that is 33% taller than the one I bought. The height fully inflated from the carpet to the top of the cushion is 17-18" but once you sit in it, it's several inches less, making it a challenge to get out of. Other than that, it's a great option if you move often. UPDATE: 5/5/24: I have been using this couch by myself often and it's been wonderful. I had company over the weekend and neither one of us are tiny so I think a seam may have broken somewhere but I can't locate the leak. I still think if you're very careful and you don't plop down on it it's a wonderful option especially if you can't lift heavy furniture. ... show more

Great product for what it is. We inflated it the day we bought it and left it inflated for 24 hrs to check for leaks or holes. Did not find any. Feels like your standard air mattress, so I feel like it will last about the same, depending on the care you give it. It took me a full hour to get all parts inflated, 20 minutes to deflate. I used an electric pump for both. You will definitely need a pump with different nozzles, there are 3 different sized valves on the various sections of the couch. It sits really low to the ground, and you need to have it against a wall for any kind of support. It was very hard to get out of. But again, I knew this going in. We sold our couch and bought 2 recliners, so this is just a backup couch for when we have company. And we will probably take it camping. I feel confident enough that it won’t spring a leak. It compressed to about the size of a tall Queen air mattress. It also feels like it would be comfortable to sleep on. I don’t think two adults could sleep on it, depends on the height. 2 kids, or one adult. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I at first thought I'd love it! BUT .... SEE THE PICTURES and VIDEO?!!!! One part of the largest cushion for sitting on, messed up within days. Last week, another part on the same side blew out or up, too. It's like someone's sitting on a slide now. And only 2 diff people have sat on it at diff times. My 130 pound friend and myself who's 125 pounds. (It's like we gotta do a countdown on when the next blow will be). You can either slide into the couch or off of it now if you sit on that part, depending on how the cushion is on it. It's only been sat on a few times in the month I've had it. Unreal! & cushions can't even be bought separately if this happens. Do not blow your money on this blow up couch cause you'll have to either buy a whole new one within a few weeks to a month just to get a new cushion, or just buy a completely different couch anyway, to not have to go through that again. Whether other couches are more expensive or not, within months, you'll spend just as much for this type if not more, cause it doesn't last long. ... show more

    • A sufficient temporary solution
This couch is decent all in all as long as you are willing to put up with th fact that it's an inflatable couch. Tbh it's actually pretty comfortable, large enough for 3 maybe 4 adults to sit on it. I highly doubt one could find a more comfortable couch at this price. But in the end it's still a inflatable couch. It will get punctures, I don't care how careful you are some how it will happen. The patch kit included is worthless. I suggest buying some vinyl patches right off. The type I'm using are for kayaks and pools. I found some that are color matching. Also a quality vinyl cement. I bought a cement from RH Adhesive called HH-66 vinyl cement, here off Amazon. This stuff is amazing btw. Another issue is the pillows. Actually one in particular. The largest of the three pillows in the set will deform over time. Basically the pillows are pleated to keep a square shape. The largest pillows pleats will come undone and in the end you will have a balloon that is uncomfortable to sit on. I just filled this pillow with beanbag material and used the vinyl kit and cement that I mentioned above to patch the hole I made to fill it. Also I recommend getting a electric inflation device of some sort. There is absolutely no way to inflate this thing otherwise. If after reading all this you're still thinking of buying one, well I suggest you buy two. So you can have one inflated as you patch the other. All in all I'm mostly happy with this couch, yes it's has a few extra steps, but even after buying 2, the vinyl kit, beanbag fuller, and the inflation device I still think you'll be hard pressed to find a couch this size this comfortable at this price. ... show more

My husband and I was looking for something temporary until we find a couch we like. I like this inflatable sofa couch a lot, good material, nice looking, and affordable. Just a friendly reminder that it is an inflatable couch and not a real sofa which means you need to inflate once in awhile. On this picture, we did not inflate it for 2 days and it’s still comfortable. It’s BIG as you can see and it’s good for all year round when you have family and friends over.
