First, the basics. I purchased a "SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress with ComfortCoil Technology". The size I purchased is a Twin XL. Everything that I read in the description for this Air Mattress is correct. The bed, out of the box, inflated in 5 minutes or less. The bed came very well packed in a box, and while the box had a few impact marks, the bed and the bag that it came packed in were in perfect condition. It also comes with a patch kit with I believe, enough material to patch two holes. The top has a waffled effect and it is "flocked", if that is the correct term. I like both as the "waffle" effect allow my shoulders and head to "sink into" the bed and for my back to get more support. The flocking is almost a skid resistant surface "holds" both blankets and sheets pretty much stay in place and prevents them from sliding around on the bed. The bed also has, when inflated, a kind of a raised bumper all the way around the edges which is very nice as it tells you where you are on the bed if you need to know. The top is supposed to be easy to clean which is a feature I hoped I would never have to us. Of course, that is not the case. On about the fifth night of sleeping on the bed I noticed that there was something on the mattress which turned out to be a piece of pie crust from one of the blankets I was using. The pie crust left an oily mark about two inches square. A little dish soapy water and the oily mark came right off and the mattress looks as good as new. No problem with the flocking coming off either. This is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in many, many years. My wife likes a bed that is almost rock hard which leaves my back and neck without support and aching when I get up in the morning. With this air mattress I can now adjust the bed to just how firm or soft I want it. I keep the bed inflated all the time and, so far, have only had to add air to it about every four to five days ~ 20-30 seconds and the mattress is back just where I like it. While the inflation/deflation fans are somewhat loud, only using them for 20-30 seconds once a week really makes the noise a non-issue. The electric cord for the fans even has a nice storage place built into the mattress to keep it out of the way. I was also concerned about getting hot sleeping on what is really a plastic surface. So far, I have been perfectly comfortable on this mattress. I suspect the flocking helps with that as well. I realize that this mattress is not really supposed to be an every night forever kind of a bed, but I am going to use it like that for as long as I can. I have been sleeping on it for six or seven weeks and have enjoyed it every night. When it wears out, provided it is still available, I will happily purchase another one. Addendum: One day earlier this week, it is now July 21, 2023, my Dream Series air mattress finally stopped retaining its air. At first it was a very slow leak, about 12 hours for the mattress to get "squishy". Last night it only took about 5 hours. Today I called the SoundAsleep support number and spoke with Casey. I can honestly say that for as much as I like the mattress, the customer support is even better. Not only was Casey pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to, she is going to replace my mattress and has even expedited the shipping on it. Yes, even though I am using the mattress as my long term bed which it is not meant for. So, in a couple of days I will have a new "dream" series mattress! The only drawback to this whole experience is that now I have to renew my search for an air mattress that is actually meant to be a "long term" bed and keep my SoundAsleep mattress as a backup. I sure hope I can find one that comes close to being as comfortable as my SoundAsleep mattress. This product and this company are keepers! ... show more

We moved and downsized our house, but still needed the ability to host the kids or nieces when the time came, and we purchased 4 of these air mattresses (2 queen and 2 twin). They are perfect. The bag they come with makes it easy to store, and they are quick to inflate and quick to deflate! EVEN BETTER - one of the mattresses developed a leak - I tried all the ways to find out where so that I could patch it with the patches they included, but no luck. The customer service when I emailed the company was fantastic. Incredibly quick to reply, they replaced the mattress immediately. Dear SA-AMAZON: Most expensive Air Mattress I have bought on Amazon, purchased on Mid-November 2023 leaking by February 2024. It's the one that lasted the least, barely 3 months. So disappointed for $160+. Jesus! I hope I am covered by warranty/return policy and have a new one sent out by Amazon/SA. That way I don't have to purchase another Air Mattress that definitely won't be SoundAsleep Brand ever again. I gave it a 3 star rating 'cause yes its good overall, easy to inflate, comfy etc. However, its not durable and does not last long and wayyyyy too expensive for being so shabby durability wise. With this experience, I am sticking with INTEX that are much longer lasting. At least, send me a new replacement one Amazon/SA for this price. Thank You! Update: 2/23/2024 Thank You Sound Asleep! You are very responsive to clients. Thank You for reaching out to me and solving my issue sending me a replacement. I hope this lasts as long as the other mattereses I have used mostly INTEX. Update: I have to say I am very impressed with the customer service, while they didn’t respond over the weekend, first thing Monday morning I received an email from them. They not only apologized but sent a replacement out the same day. I just received it! Wow! A company that really stands behind their product!! Refreshing! Seemed like a great buy, inflated it made it up for bed and a few hours later I woke up to realize I had sunk! I tried to contact the seller but of course it’s the weekend, so Ive located the leak and used the patch that came with, waited 4-5 hours and inflated it once again only to find it deflated an hour later, so I checked the entire mattress again and the only leak was the one I found so I put another patch on it waited 4 more hours and inflated it again… waiting to see if it holds. I will contact the seller Monday but I’m not keeping something that leaked on the first night! It’s too bad it was very comfortable until it deflated ... show more

We bought this bed for our apartment guest room. I slept on it for a cople of nights to test it out. I really liked it. It stayed firm all night long. By the next evening I had to give it about 30 seconds of air to firm it up but that should be expected for any inflatable. In the wintertime I did notice that the mattress was slightly cool to sleep on. If you like to sleep cool than this is great. I like to be a bit warmer that most so I bought a thin memory foam pad to fit on top between the mattress and mattress pad. That provides enough cushion so that the mattress felt more flat and also I slept warmer. My wife and I now take turns away from our regular mattress because it is so comfortable. It stores up small and fits into a corner of a closet when not in use. Great mattress. ... show more
