  • Works as it should
I used this to spot paint and blend a door. The product did a great job melting the clear together.

  • Perfect finish
I used this product to help me refinish a dent on a door. I used the companion CLEAR COAT product and followed a couple of youtube videos. Laid up the clear heavy and use the SPOT blender following the youtube videos. After wet sanding and polishing it looks like new. Very satisifed.

  • Fantastic Blender
I’ve never used this before and was going to do some repainting of base and clear it on my 2007 & 2012 Toyota Camry’s. Both cars needed deck lid roof, roof rails and hood repainted. Painting the rails, I used it to blend into the rear fenders. It worked great. After the final clear coat, I lightly sprayed the area where the clear was fogged to the original clear. You couldn’t even tell there was a difference in the clear coat. Remember, to use lightly so you don’t get any runs . You’ll love the results. So far, after 1 year , it still looks as shiny as the first day. Try it, will save you in respirating large areas. ... show more

  • This is a godsend!!!
So I have to say that SprayMax has always been high on my list. But I got a big detail job on a 67 Corvette and I wasn’t having luck with other spot blenders. Not only does this deliver but it’s extremely user friendly. In the images I posted there is a crease that over the years the owner burned through polishing. This happens and normally is a very big problem because an auto body/paint shop will say the whole panel needs to be repainted. Using my little Iawata airbrush mixed with the correct paint and 2K clear I was able to seamlessly fix a big problem in absolutely no time. It’s important to make sure for best results that you overspray your clear beyond any sanded areas (even if using 3000 grit). The results are amazing. And if you have a little lumpiness or imperfection on a larger panel area this will help smooth it out too. Just make sure to use right after spraying don’t wait for it to flash. ... show more

  • Works awesome
Got a huge deep scratch in the fender of my new ranger. Discovered this product watching mutiple paint tutorials on YouTube. Saw another review where someone was complaining about this dulling the clear coat. It's a solvent that melts your old and new clear together, had the same "Issue" which wasn't much of an issue at all. Wet sanded the clear coat with 1000 grit, then 2000, then used a wool buffing pad with McGuire's ultimate compound, and you can't tell where the factory clear ends and the new clear begins Highly recommend this. This is my first major repair dealing with metallic paint, and this stuff was an absolute life saver. ... show more

  • First time using a blender in spot repair, came out flawless.
Doing a basecoat repair on a car door. I didn't use tape, just progressed out with 800grit, 1500, 2k. I sprayed the 2k clear, slightly overlapping the 2k grit sanded area, sprayed this stuff over the transition area twice. Once immediately before the clear could flash as instructed, and a second(probably not required) after a few minutes. The job came out great. I have since sanded with wet 2000 grit and buffed the area and no problems. We will see how it does in the long term but I am confident it will be fine. ... show more
