This is a durable mattress. My niece bounced up and down on this mattress and slid it all over the floor for two days straight, and it stayed firm and lost no air at all. Inflating it was easy because it has a built-in plug, so you need electricity to use the inflation mechanism. That same feature can also deflate the mattress. I camp a LOT. I bought this to replace my old queen-sized air mattress so I could have more floor space in my tent. It inflates VERY quickly when you plug it in; less so when using a battery-powered pump. It’s comfy and sturdy, and after the first time I aired it up and let it settle (air mattresses stretch out the first time you inflate them and have to be topped up after the first few hours), it’s held air and remained supportive throughout camping weekends of 3-5 days’ duration without needing to be re-inflated. ... show more

This is a very firm and sturdy blow up mattress. The height is perfect as it allows you to get on and off fairly easily. I bought it to sleep on for a few days before my bed arrived. I kept the unit plugged in and had to occasionally turn it on to the plump up the bed, generally before getting in at night. It did deflate slightly during the day, but it generally stayed inflated. The mattress is COLD, whether you place in on carpet or wood floors. The felt lining on top does little to keep the mattress warm. I had just one sheet on it so I recommend you place a blanket or other insulated and warm barrier between the mattress and your sheet to stay warm. My son and I were staying with friends. I only had one air mattress so I needed a second one. I bought this one because it's an improved version of the same model I already had. The one I had was good quality and lasted several years so I figured I couldn't go wrong with a newer version of it. This new one didn't disappoint. It's easy to inflate, and it holds air. It stays firm and only needs topped off with air every couple of days if you want it to stay at its maximum firmness. The top is covered in a soft material, making it comfortable. You can fit two people on it, but it's not ideal if you want room to move around. Even though it says it's queen-sized, I'd prefer to stick to one person per air mattress. I didn't try the pillow rest feature. I used actual pillows because it seems like it would be too firm to be comfortable. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if needed. For those wondering, my old air mattress had since got a small tear in it and had to be thrown out. It lasted me for 5 years, and I definitely got my use out of it. I hope the new one lasts at least as long. ... show more

Make sure your floor is free of tiny debris or it's not going to last. Fills quickly and deflates quickly. Again, your floor have to be clean.
