Excellent sturdy product; very easy to put up. only difficulty is for older single person to get it out of the package. Need two people to take out and to put it back in the carrier bag. Otherwise very happy with the looks, quality and sturdy build. Great comfort; I am 5'2" so feet dangle a little.

Bought these chairs to take to beach so we didn't have to drag an umbrella or canopy along. Perfect, sturdy, roomy chairs that can support up to 350 lbs, very comfortable for guys w/o worrying they will collapse. A little heavier than your standard canopy chair, but still very portable with carrying bag... you get what you pay for! Highly recommend this chair. BUT that being said, only gave it 4 stars due to the fact that the storage bag is a tight fit and does not let one easily get chair back into bag. I personally bought 6 of these chairs (and love the chairs) BUT the storage bag is tricky to handle by oneself... come on guys! Would it have been so difficult to make the storage bag a couple of inches wider so the chair with the canopy would slide in easier? ... show more

I bought two of these chairs to take to the beach. I'm so glad I did. These chairs are very sturdy, comfortable, and their canopy shaded us well. They are a little heavy (14 lbs.), but not too bad.     • Better than even imagined
When I enter a car show, my wife comes later and we both sit behind our car. Car show locations almost never have shade. So when we decided to buy two new folding chairs, we were going to buy two with a canopy or umbrella...or something...overhead. Reviews for the Alpha Camp folding canopy chairs looked good, so we went for it. I bought one in navy blue and one in red. Three things immediately became apparent: these are ridiculously easy to set up and - although I haven't used one yet on a hot car show day - I can tell the canopy will provide plenty of shade for my head and upper torso. It wouldn't be hard to adjust the chair so my whole body's in shade. Third, these chairs are very roomy and very comfortable and at 6-foot-1 and 250 pounds, I'm not a small guy. Each comes with a fabric cupholder on each "armrest". Putting them away wasn't too hard. I just had to make sure the folded fabric wasn't bunched up and instead wrapped around the folded legs so it would slide into the provided nylon bag. They seem plenty sturdy (rated to hold 350 pounds) and are very well made. These chairs are a little pricy, but that's how it is when you expect quality and good features. ... show more

As an average ht/wt ratio, 5'10" adult my legs are smoosher together. Sitting in this chair reminds me of sitting at a parent teacher conference elementary chair.
