Have this on 4-8” mids and 2 bullet style tweeters they sound extremely well amp has clip lights for each side which is a plus on the amp I have left the amp running for a good while no signs of it getting hot amp really looks good and the knobs are of good quality cant complain

Its been a few months since I got it and its still going strong. gets pretty warm fairly quick but for how small it is that is to be expected. I have them hooked up to a pair of Rockford R2SD2-10 in a regular cab. They make water bottles in the cupholder shake pretty good and my buddy said he could hear it at a stop light a couple cars ahead. this is with the 2550 model, granted it is nowhere near 2k or even 1k for that matter. I've got them wired at 2 ohm. Only complaint is that its very easy to send into protect mode. As soon as the clip LED starts blinking you can't turn it up any further. Edit: Now any time I turn it up really at all the amp goes into protect. Pretty much unusable now ... show more

    • Got 2 that didn't work
1550 I got the first one and hooked it up and popped my main fuse when I first plugged it in, then upped the fuse after looking into what is really needed. And figured I would hook it up properly, unplugged the neg cable to the car got it hooked up properly, attached the neg cable and popped the 2-25a on the amp..... Car not on or anything.... Figured may be bad amp got the second one. Unplugged neg battery cable, Only attached pos and neg cable to make sure my head unit want causing it, (with out a remote signal it shouldn't turn on). After just pos and neg I connected the batter and heard it immediately pop in the trunk. So 2 bad amps? Returned them both ... show more

Very small package. But nice power output. Enough to power my speakers and tweeters. Have them only half way and they are pretty loud. No overheating problems either. Stays warm with the built in fan and not hot. Been bumping it for 3 weeks. No issues.

I'm using this amp to drive a 12" subwoofer in my Nissan Leaf. Runs great, tiny footprint and remote bass control with clipping light is especially handy. For the money you can't go wrong.
