Edit 6/14/23: Changing from 1 star for 4. After being transferred to a few different CS reps, Amazon did end up give me a partial credit for the pool, essentially making the replacement liner free, which is all I was looking for, so I can get one for next year without any leaks. Thanks Amazon for ultimately comin through. Initial Review: This is the second intex pool I've purchased through Amazon. The first one I bought in 2021 and it was great. Due to moving to a bigger space, I decided to upgrade this year. The pool was easy to assemble, is the right size. All in all, excited. However, after a day of it being filled, I noticed that there must be a pinhole on the bottom of the liner somewhere (we made sure the ground was clear of debris, leveled it out, and laid down tarps). I reached out to intex, in the hopes that I could provide all my order info and they'd send me out a new liner. They gave me the run around and wanted me to send the whole pool back. Draining and dismantling a 1700 gallon pool that you just set up isn't ideal, let alone paying a 2nd time to refill it, so I obviously didn't want to do that. Intex won't help, Amazon won't help. So basically, unless the defect makes your pool unusable anyways, you're SOL if something minor is wrong. ... show more

The pool itself is great. Just make sure your ground is level. I had to set this up twice because there was a slight slope to my yard, and it ended up one side was almost 3" lower than the other. This cause a lot of weight one one side of the pool that I wasn't comfortable with, and had to re-level the ground. Honestly the pool is strong enough it may have been fine, and that was my fault. On the other hand this pool does have a weakness, and that is the pump. It has barely any water flow, and it took a lot off effort just to get the air out of the tube as it flowing fast enough to move the air out. Even after that I still had to let air of the pump every day for about 3 days before it finally ran smoothly. (I wonder if peoples pumps failing after 4 days is due to them to not re-checking the prime and basically running air in the pump without knowing). Overall It is worth the price, and I will probably by a bigger version of this in the future once my kids are bigger (although I may by a stronger pump as I don't really trust the included pumps). ... show more

The past 2 Summers we had the Intex 10x30 round ring Above-Ground Pool, and enjoyed it both years. This year when we went to set it up, we found a group of puncture marks around the lip, and this prevented it from staying filled. So we decided to upgrade to the next size bigger, along with the poles to anchor it up. The pool was easy to put together (having an extra body to help is definitely a plus), and the complete set-up was quick. We have hit a little snag where the chemicals are concerned, but using testing strips makes it less complicated and we're hoping to be swimming by tomorrow.. making this a 2 day process from opening the box to splashing in the refreshing and cool water!! ... show more

I was very impressed with the condition of the boxes. One of my concerns ordering online was damage in shipping. It was delivered on a skid in perfect condition. This is the 3rd Intex pool we had. The first was small and we gave it away to upsize. We had the larger 24x52 for 4-5 years and got a tear in the liner last year that was unreparable. We decided on the 20x52 since the kids are grown and it’s usually just my husband and I using it. It’s a nice size. We upgraded our pump to the sand filter, I don’t recommend using the one that comes with it.it’s just not powerful enough . ... show more

This is wonderful quality. A bit larger than I expected, only bc we had a Bestway pool with the same dimensions and it is noticeably smaller than this pool. The Bestway lasted us two years even though I didn’t put it away in the winter. This new Intex I will be sure to put away. It’s SO nice. I would say it is large enough that the filter is needed. We didn’t use a filter with the other pool. We floated chlorine disks but no filter. This one is more than some floating chlorine can handle. The filter cartridges are highly affordable. I was very happy about that. The filter comes with a built in timer!!! Four hours per day is the recommended time for this pool. We are in the country so we will run it 6 hours. But both are impressive to me. I thought we would have to run it all day. ... show more

Going on my second year and I am very impressed. I love this little pool. The filter system actually works. For the price of this pool, you can’t go wrong quick set up and very strong lining Don’t forget to prepare the ground with puncture resistant material Coco grass is a bummer and you don’t have to leave it up. You can install this pool in 30 minutes. Takes about an hour to fill it. i’m using BlueMAX tablets by Clorox and my water is crystal clear.😉 ... show more

We bought this pool originally several years ago, when Covid was starting to ramp up. It was several hundred dollars more then, and worth every cent. It’s lasted until now through Michigan winters and lots of rough play from our kiddo. Finally it got a leak we couldn’t locate this spring, so we bought a new one and used the new liner to quickly and easily replace the punctured one. I’m tempted to buy another while they’re this cheap to have on hand for next time we can’t find the leak! Great fun, great value, great pool. ... show more
