The media could not be loaded. Basset hounds have the 2nd best nose in the canine kingdom next to Bloodhounds (which they are bred from). My hound is 9 years old, very active & has a lot of energy compared to any other basset I have met. Although this snuffle may toy play duration is less than 10 minutes, he has fun and he gets to use his nose which helps mentally tire him some during the day…he is not even aggressive with it and it still has torn some so I would recommend this to anyone who who has a small to medium sized dog that is a non aggressive chewer

This toy has been great for my hyper Catahoula/yellow lab. She loves the puzzle of it and it took her no time to figure out how to get the treats. She can get the carrots out fairly easily but not easily enough she gets bored. I fill up each little hole with her favorite treat and she spends the next hour digging, popping carrots and searching for treats. We are considering buying another one because my pitbull loves the plush carrots! Shes less interested in the game of it but she likes to gather them in her bed to snuggle. Great quality, durable (my heavy digger/chewer hasn't even created any holes yet) and fun for the working dog. Excellent toy!

I bought one for my dog and now I buy these for my dog's friends. All dogs seem to LOVE them! Great fun, keeps your dog occupied and interested. Place a tiny treat under the carrots (or under random carrots for extra interest/scent training) and watch your dog dig that carrot patch! My last purchase, though, was disappointing, hence the four stars instead of five: NONE of the carrots had a squeaker inside. The squeak is part of the fun! Note: if you have a smush-faced dog, these might not work because the hole the carrots are in is narrow and deep. My Boston could not get his face into the hole to retrieve the treat. He still enjoyed squeaking the carrot though.

We have a mini American shepherd who needs brain stimulation and this is a great thing to keep him busy. Only minor complaint is that the slot where the carrots go may be too small for some dogs noses and or mouths, and could potentially be hard for the dog to get a treat out of the slot. The carrots are in good condition but most likely won’t withstand a dog who tears toys apart or is rougher with them. The carrots do not squeak and only have fluff inside them.

My two chihuahua terrier mix and even my teacup chihuahua love this pad! It took them a little bit to figure out thay they have to pull the carrots up in order to get to the treats but once they figured it out, they both loved it. I may have to order another since they've started to fight over it and dont like to share! Haha
