I gave up building an Home Theatre PC. My TV is 8K and NOTHING I tried would work to play 8K video without dripped frames until I bought this PC on its claim to play 8K, and the good video playback reviews of the Intel A770 graphics. When I connected it to my TV via HDMI 8K cable, it would not go about 4K at 60hz. I did some research and found the HDMI port on this PC is only V2.0b, so I tried a Cable Matters 8K Display Port to HDMI 2.1 adapter and presto, 8K@60. Still had a few dropped frames on YouTube videos, so bought a cable matters USB-C/Thunderbolt to HDMI 2.1 cable, and problem solved. Full 48 Gb/s video and audio to the TV. Pristine 8K picture. 4K and even upscaled lower resolution 720p and 1080p look great. I dont game so cannot tell you how well that works, but for a video PC playing the latest AV1 codecs, it is flawless if connected to the Thunderbolt port. Very pleased. Looks good on the entertainment center (I laid it flat on its small rubber feed rather than the included vertical stand). Note: It does not come with a keyboard or mouse, so you will need a USB WIRED or Dongle keyboard and mouse to set it up. And after the 1 hour of windows updates, you have to go to the INTEL website and download the actual current graphics drivers and control software to finish setting this up. There is no documentation at all in the box, so do your homework ahead of time. Temperature runs about 55c with fans on COOL and performance on HIGH playing back full screen 8K@60 video with AV1 codec. Even putting my ear up to it, I cannot hear it. QUIET is king. Highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to upgrade to 8K. Just chose a browser that can offload the video decoding to the graphics card. Edge works 100%. Have issues with Opera GX. Havent tried installing any others yet. Have fun.

Looks like a home run for my needs. The deal breaker for me in purchasing this is that it supports 5 displays whereas almost all of the other mini-PCs only support 4. What's the point of 4 monitors when you end up not having a center display? Yeah, I realize that there's different ways of organizing them, but I held out for 5 display support and this product did it without a hitch and handles all 1440p displays with ease. This product has just the right balance of ports and provides what's actually needed to have a good multimedia experience. The S/PDIF audio required a mini Toslink to S/PDIF cable, but no big deal. Surround sound works great! I planned to mount it on the back of my center display but ended up just setting it on top of my subwoofer since the electrical outlets and cabling worked out better there. Barely noticeable and just looks like part of the subwoofer. The VESA mount is on the bottom of the stand in case you are wondering. You don't need to buy a 3rd-party one. You just need to detach it from the stand if you plan on mounting it to a display. My workspace went very large, and I wanted the focus more on desk space and displays as opposed to my old tower PC that I built a few years ago looking like an eyesore. It had a ton of fans and this is much, much quieter. I'm a Windows 10 user so I immediately wiped all of the drives and installed Windows 10. One thing of note is that you will make your life a lot easier if you copy the Intel network driver (.inf file) to your USB installation media, browser for it and install it right after partitioning the drives before proceeding with Windows 10 install. The majority of drivers will automatically install this way, and you will save yourself a lot of time and headaches. Another thing of note, even though Windows will install a video driver, you will need to install the Intel Arc driver to get all 5 displays working. You will also want to overwrite the Bluetooth driver with Intel's. I had dropouts in conference calls until updating to the official driver.

It worked well for a few hours. It seemed like it all started going downhill after I had installed updated drivers for the WiFi and bluetooth. After that there were constant hard freezes that required me to hold the power button to shut down the computer, and BSODs every 10 minutes. I reinstalled Windows 11 from the Windows Update menu and it did not work. I tried reinstalling Windows again from a fresh USB and the WiFi stopped working after the fresh install. No drivers. Upon trying to reinstall fresh drivers, errors were thrown and another hard freeze. Tried again to no avail. Really wanted to make it work but I guess this one was defective.

Solid construction and easy access for upgrades to memory and storage. For everything I use on this PC, graphics and speed have not caused any issues. HDR support is appreciated, too many other PC manufacturers have forgotten this option for video output.

I'm still trying to figure out how to play Talos Principle 2 from Steam on this (it says it's not DirectX 12 compatible, which it is). It plays Rocket League on the highest settings, Overwatch 2 on default settings (medium or better), and Stray (on high settings) just fine. Keeping it cool is essential. This can get very hot. It's a beast. I'm hoping to skip the current generation of consoles (PS5, etc) because I'm frankly sick of the console wars. I also really like PC as an architecture and my Steam Deck reinvigorated that. But the docked experience with SD is not as great as I'd like it to be. But with this as a "Steam Box" I can just have my save states sync up through Steam and continue playing on this without a hitch. I'm still trying to figure out how to get this to resume from sleep or turn back on with just a wireless controller via bluetooth. That would make it really awesome. Note that I had to use the UEFI console in order to boot the Chimera OS installer, but after that it has been fine. I've never put Windows on this and probably won't, so I can't do an A vs. B comparison
