For the 170 I paid for it you can't get more performance for the dollar. This thing is a power house, the current Gen flag ships are of course faster but the i7-12700kf is plenty for competition level fortnite players even under stock settings, over clocked you get really get the frame rate up high on cpu based games such as fortnite. This cpu definitely has the gaming horsepower, with this cpu, 64gb of 7200mhz ddr5 and a 3060ti it runs DCS (digital combat simulator)beautifully and I mean beautifully with no bottle necking at the cpu, if anything the 3060ti is the bottle neck with this system now. Runs very efficiently with a simple 120mm aio providing the cooling, no need for a 240mm aio unless you are running extreme demand for extended amounts of time with it over clocked to the max, in that case yeah you will want a 240mm aio. A good set of intake and exhaust fans and a good 120mm aio and cooling will be of no issue for most people. This processor really is a great value considering the extremely high performance it's capable of yet at a great price and not having the need to run a 300 dollar cooling system to keep temps in check. Really great product at a great price and delivered quickly by amazon!

I've been using the i7-12700KF for a few months now and I've been satisfied withit , Coming from an older Intel CPU, the performance jump is massive. Games run smooth, even when I have other apps open in the background. I play a lot of CS2,Valorant, and the FPS for this price is best bang for the buck. What really surprised me is how well it handles multitasking. I can game, Stream on Discord, and have multiple Chrome tabs open with barely any slowdowns. The hybrid architecture (P-cores and E-cores) seems to work really well, even though I wasn’t sure what to expect at first. Note that: this CPU doesn't come with a cooler, so make sure you have a decent aftermarket cooler or AIO. It can get a bit warm under heavy load, but with proper cooling, it stays very stable, Especially it being KF. Overall, the i7-12700KF is underrated beast for both gaming and productivity. Also note that this cpu is best gen since it never had any voltage issues unlike newer gens, If you're building a new PC and want high-end performance without going all the way to an i9, this is a great choice, Absolutely best price-to-perfomance ratio.

This processor is a little beast with its 12 cores (8P+4E) up to 5.0 GHz you can play any current competitive game and future games without problems you can get the most out of it as long as you have a good dedicated card, I recommend using DDR5 Ram so you can get the most out of this processor

I am writing this review to let everyone know that the i7 12th Gen works well with my Asus ProArt Z790 Creator WiFi motherboard. It's fast and doesn't even get that hot. I have the Thermaltake UX150 ARGB CPU Cooler, and a couple of chassis fans. The i7 12th Gen runs around 38 degrees under light load, and 48 degrees at full load when I'm using my musical software for recording. Awesome!

i tried a normal cpu fan and that did not work. it hit a 100 really fast. i ended up getting a 210w fan but that did not do the trick so i added a second 120mm fan to the heat sink but that did not help. it is a beast but nobody wants a beast. i got it running on 4 out 20 cpus in windows with msconfig. runs nice and smooth at 55.
