  • Accidental purchase
I was actually buying a blade for my Makita cordless circular saw and didn’t realize that it was 6 1/2”. But I am a big Diablo blade fan so naturally I kept it to use on my corded circular saw. (also Makita, naturally). I honestly haven’t even used this one yet, but from my experience with Diablo blades, I have 100% confidence in this one. Diablo are simply the best in my opinion. Made of quality hardened steel, they arrive razor sharp and they seem to last forever. Oh yeah-they cut through lumber like a hot knife through soft butter. Just excellent quality tools. Yes, they are more expensive than the usual Home Cheapo crap. But I promise, you will not regret paying for quality. At least I never have. I highly recommend Thanks for reading ... show more

  • Cuts hard wood like BUTTER !
Could not ask for any better saw blade. Makes a cheap saw cut like a million bucks. Better know you are on the line or use a guide if you are used to using a slow cutting blade previously because it makes quick work out of plywood, 2X8 studs & yes even hardwood. I've unknowingly ran it through several 2" staples & it zipped thru them without hesitation & left no nicks in the blade that I could find. Great blade !!! ... show more

  • Awesome blades with great durability!
These blades are just fantastic! I buy multiple supplies for my construction company and these blades are exactly what I was looking for. They cut through the wood like nothing and even after so many uses it hasn't chipped or broken. Pros -Durability is fantastic! -Smooth cuts even after multiple uses -Packaging was great and arrived on time Cons: -None Overall this product is great for cutting pressured wood and planks. Definitely recommend for home use or heavy duty construction. I will be buying more blades in bulk. ... show more

  • Clean cuts
I can't speak to longevity but my first impression is that the Diablo blade cuts better than any of the six or more blades I had on my saw up to now. The kerf is narrow and it runs true. The first cuts I made were in treated 2X4s. No bogging down or burning. Just quick, clean cuts. I expect the Diablo blade to be a better value than what I've tried before. ... show more

  • Best Blade Around
I cut 15 steel clad fire doors with one of these and it was still able to rip cut an 80 inch wooden door. There were 1/4 inch steel pegs in the fire doors, and it chugged through those as well. This particular blade and style cannot be matched in performance. Its the best multipurpose blade around

  • Fast cuts
Bought this to replace a old blade. Trimming a few doors; thought my saw was bad but this blade cut fast and cleanly. Exact cuts . Clean edges. No splitting. Very well balanced blade. Made in Italy not Chinese junk.

  • These Freuds are the blades to buy
These cost more than the cheap blades I always used to buy but are worth many times more and they have convinced me to stop buying the cheap crap. They cut SO much better and easier and last way longer and make it easy to produce more accurate cuts as well. Literally a pleasure to use. No more burning wood, dull and warped blades, lousy cuts, and aggravation! ... show more

  • Blade is too thin to attach to my circular saw
I have an old Craftsman circular saw (you might say ancient), and this blade doesn't fit - it's too thin for the blade bolt to fully tighten - had to put a washer on the blade shaft but not sure that's safe, outside shaft washer with a squared alignment hole could not engage the flats on the shaft because of the washer on the saw side of the shaft. This blade is REALLY skinny, so thin I think it might twist while cutting 6 x 2 pressure treated lumber, especially if you're free hand cutting without a square saw guide. ... show more
