  • New Best Friend!
Color: Navy
Took this backpack on a multi-adventure trip to Alaska and it was everything I needed. The bladder kept me hydrated, the fit was perfect and very comfortable, the number of pockets helped me organize my gear easily and it was just the right weight. When not using the bladder, I would put a regular water bottle in the large part of the pack, along with jacket, snacks, and all the other stuff one needs when on a wild land (or township) journey. Have tried other high end brands, but this one was just right for me. Try it! ... show more

  • Works great and the pockets are helpful.
Color: Navy
This is my second hydration backpack and definitely my favorite of the two. Very easy to fill the water bag, as it has a handle near the opening of the bag. The side pockets aren't very large, but I find that they are suitable for carrying a few snacks, eye drops, and keys. The larger pocket is great for holding larger items such as phone, raingear, etc. Highly recommend. ... show more

Color: Unicorn
It has so many places to store stuff! Love that it came with everything to clean it too. Total game changer for cycling in Texas.

  • A God Send for Field Sales
Color: Flower
So I recently got a new job as a field outreach Representative so I am outside a LOT. 6 hours a day in rain, snow, or the burning hot sun. I used to have a small shoulder bag that carried my cards, phone, water bottle, snacks, and other necessities but it was weighing my shoulder so much and it was also a struggle to try to reach for things I needed: especially water. Having to juggle everything made it hard to drink water. Come this beautiful invention. It is insulated, carries nearly half of what your daily required water intake is (which is 4L), and it's roomy and light!!! Not only that, the flower pattern is so cute!! I can drink cold water whenever I want when out in the field and carry snacks with me wherever I go. And if homeowners are so kind, they offer me water bottles in which I can also stick in my back in the main insulated pocket!!! While I did give this 5 stars, there are a few nit picky problems I have: Yes, the condensation from cold water WILL soak your back. Not a big deal. I line the bottom of the insulated pocket with a small hand towel. THE BLADDER ITSELF IS SECURE AND DOES NOT LEAK*** Two, I know this is mainly used for hiking, but if you are in my position you wear no sleeve shirts. That being said, the underlining part of the arm straps aren't very comfortable under my arm since there's no clothing there. This won't be a problem for hikers who usually wear long sleeves. Third is super nit picky but it disgusts me everytime. If you aren't continuously drinking your cold water, water will remain in the tube and warm up. So going to drink it again you get a fresh shot of hot water which gives me the heebie jeebies cause I just think it is spit. I wish there was a way to close off the tube somehow so water doesn't stay in there. But I truly can't complain. This is just a personal issue 😂 Aside from these SMALL personal issues, it's perfect and I am so thankful for it. Now I can get my daily water intake without struggling. ... show more

  • Nice pack - with some oddities
First of all - this is a nice, compact little pack. I recently started increasing my mileage while hiking/running and wanted something to have with me. I've used it on half a dozen short runs/hikes (under 15 miles each) and one long excursion for over 15 miles at Red Rocks. First off - the straps...? I'm 5'9", around 145 lbs with a pretty small torso. It took tons of adjusting and tightening to try to get the pack settled right. I had a decent amount of shifting/rocking when the bladder was full and had to stop quite a bit to get the adjustment correct. After the adjustment was finally correct, I was left with TONS of straps just hanging. I'm hesitant to cut them down, but I've had to tuck/hide/zip/wrap up the straps as much as possible to have them not hitting me during the run. 2nd - SWEAT. Because it's so snug on your frame to avoid movement, be advised you'll be sweaty...and then literally sweat THROUGH the bag. On the first run with the pack, I did a moderately paced 5-6 miles and I completely soaked through the straps on my back/shoulders. The back of the pack (against my back) was disgusting. I'm not a heavy sweater by any means, so just an FYI if this is a concern for you. 3rd - INSULATION. I don't know if I maybe have a bum pack where the insulation material isn't working correctly, but there's no way the liquid in the bladder stays cool...like, at all. First couple of uses I didn't notice it because it was well water from a state park and wasn't too cool when I put it in the bladder. At Red Rocks, however, I had literally ICE COLD water that I put in the bladder, mixed with some slushy Gatorade. It was just about 80-82 and with rising sun (from about 10am-noon), the liquid was barely "cool" within 45 minutes. My guess is this is a direct result of the pack creating so much trapped heat between your body and the pack itself (#2 - sweat factor), that it is transferring heat into the pack/bladder. 4th - WATERPROOF? I highly doubt this. I haven't had the pack in a downpour yet, but due to the sweat pushing through the material so quickly, I'm hard-pressed to believe the pack is waterproof. I had it in a light rain on the trail yesterday and the material absolutely got wet and held the water - it didn't pill off like I assume "waterproof" to be. I wouldn't chance having anything valuable that can't get wet in the pack. 5th - RIGIDITY. When I took the pack to Red Rocks, I had it in my carry-on backpack. It was a really spacious Vera Bradley backpack, but even with the bladder and tubing removed, the pack didn't roll/compact down very much. All I could fit in the main compartment of the backpack was the Mubasel pack and my Brooks. I don't know if this is a benefit to the pack itself during use - just once again an aspect of the design. All in all, after some pretty good use straight out of the box (literally first use on the day I received it), I am happy with the pack and will buy again. ... show more
