This vinyl is not gloss. It resembles 3M’s satin finish, but IS NOT GLOSS. The color swatch shown in the pictures is no where close to what the vinyl actually looks like in person. Update: VVivid sent a replacement roll and it seems I just got a defective roll the first time. Very impressed with how quickly they made up for this and how quickly they got a replacement sent to me. The entire roll has major streaks through it that can’t be washed off. I’ve tried detail spray, isopropyl alcohol and nothing will removed the streaking. This is also more of a grey color than what’s advertised. As some of the other reviews have said, this vinyl feels super thick and which makes it a pain to deal with compared to competitors. Would NOT recommend this, spend a bit extra and go with a better vinyl.

Update - they reached out to me to resolve the issue quickly. I ordered more rolls to cover rest of the car as well. My car is black metallic gloss and I was hoping this would be somewhat similar. This color is more of a satin grey color. The quality of wrap as I worked with it seems good. I tried not to stretch as much as possible so the material stays stronger over time. Time will tell how it handles weather. Still debating if I should keep it on or take it off as now I would need to wrap the entire car instead of hood and trunk I originally planned cuz color is different.

Had to return this, the color really isn't as described. It's just black. No pearl or pearl-like sheen. Just don't expect any kind of black pearl color. It's just regular 'ole black.
