Hey! So far so good! I hope it holds up in the long run, but so far I am enjoying it. Love that you can set its timer (& speed) and it will STOP mixing when time is up. Really can continue working on other things & not worry about it. Also will time by counting up if you want to establish a mixing duration on a new recipe, then you can set timer accordingly next time around. Seems to have great power. I have made a few batches of bread so far. No issues! Also have made cupcakes and icings so far. Whipped cream cheese icing-- whipped up so nice! And perfectly. And the cupcake batter too. Its whipping ability was going to be a strong selling point for me for what I will mostly use it for. So I was so thrilled that it worked so nicely! It really was a treat- to whip up some cream and it goes so well. First time experience for me as I was wrestling with a hand mixer up to this point. Always a little skeptical with fully digital things, so just hoping that holds up. Plus the longevity piece of it as I don't believe this has been on the market for super long. So we shall see. With the price point (on sale for $200) and for the features, ANd that it comes from a brand that has so much success with its "other item" :) I was willing to take a chance on it and give it a try. So far so good ! :)

I recently purchased an Instant Stand Mixer and after using it several times noticed a few things. It’s an attractive design that I’m happy to have on my countertop. However, there are some improvements I’d like to suggest. (1) The pouring shield was in a plastic bag attached to packaging materials. While that is identified in the instruction booklet, I didn’t happen to read it until several days later and fortunately hadn’t thrown it away yet. (2) The pouring shield was rather difficult to install the first time because the instructions are somewhat confusing. The instruction title is “Place the Shield on the Bowl” but the shield actually needs to be assembled to the head. It may be good to post a short video online to demonstrate the assembly method. (3) Using the pouring shield was difficult because the opening is much too small to pour ingredients through. It would be nice if the opening was a larger funnel or chute which would prevent the ingredients from going onto the floor and counter as well as collecting in between the opening in the pouring shield and the mixer head. (4) Pushing the mixer head down until it locks into position takes a lot more force than it should. (5) The increase and decrease buttons on the control panel seem to be reversed. Intuitively, I would expected the increase button to be on the right and the decrease button to be on the left. (6) I really love the handle on the bowl, however, the bowl size is much too large. It takes up too much space on the counter and the it doesn’t fit into my dishwasher. I can’t imagine ever using the full capacity of a bowl that large and would prefer it be smaller and more manageable. In general I think the Instant mixer is a good product and I hope you find these suggestions useful.

I use this mixer near daily! It kneads dough very well and can make so many cookies at one time! It has a lot of power, great capacity, lightweight to move around, and it is so easy to use! Just set the timer and you can focus on something else! I was a little bit worried about going from my kitchen aid to this, but my kitchen aid has sat in my canning room since I bought this almost a year ago! “Only a year ago?” You may ask, questioning its durability. Let me tell you, I run a home bakery, and it has seen some stuff! I regularly churn out a triple batch of pretzel/bagel dough, one right after another, with this mixer! You’d never know. It slows down a little bit when doing such a large quantity (which is honestly probably out of the range the booklet recommends) but I can’t imagine any other machine wouldn’t! I have butcher block and have never experienced any rocking. I have used all of the attachments, and they all work great! I mostly use the dough hook and beater. Love the pouring shield, but hardly use that, either. When there is mess from baking, it is so easy to wipe up! I was a little worried that the knob in the back to release everything would be hard to adjust to, but it’s honestly not! It does make it a little hard to reach back when I have a spook with a lot of wet stuff on it, but nothing I haven’t been able to adjust to! My only two complaints: One: only one bowl. As I said before, I am a home baker. Having to wash my only bowl in between each recipe can get annoying and time consuming when I am also needing to shape a million pretzels, swap cookies in the oven, etc. I really wish another bowl was available already for purchase. The lack of another bowl has been the reason I have not yet purchased another. Don’t want to have to clean two bowls at a time! Haha. Two: does not come in pink :( Would loooooove a pink Instant mixer! A cute pastel pink to go with the blue!
