Also, wanted a slim, uncomplicated machine. Meets that criteria. The reusable basket is the best I've used so far. Just make sure not to over fill or it will overflow. I was in the market for a new coffeemaker and, after reading the reviews, went with this one, as you can use both KCups and your own ground coffee in the pod that comes with it. The flavor is excellent and it's very easy to use. The water doesn't get moldy in the reservoir if you don't use it all right away, and the machine itself has a small footprint, which is helpful in tight counter space. My only gripe (and mentioned in other reviews too) is that when you use your own ground coffee in the pod, the water dribbles out the front if you don't have the perfect amount. It has to be exactly. Two. Tablespoons. And. Not. One. Ground. More. I considered returning it, but I'd already recycled the box, and the flavor is excellent. I'd also bought it on Prime Day, so it was a good deal. This brewer is nice and compact, small enough it can fit on my desk easily. Lid opens and closes smoothly, and the touch screen is wonderfully responsive. The brewing process itself is lightning fast, and the 'bold' function does seem to boost the flavor. Some of the latte cups I have seem to leave behind residue, but I think that's just an issue with that kind of cup, not the brewer, and it's very easily rectified by just running a cup of plain hot water to flush it out. ... show more

I love how compact this is and doesn't take up a ton of counter space. It's a great value for the money and makes a great cup of coffee. Just need to buy the Pods. You can make tea, coffee or hot chocolate. I have used it at work for about a year and it's still going strong. This this is durable! Never had issues with it tipping or being unstable. Works as advertised. The coffee pod that comes with it works great and I'm now using a LOT!! less coffee. The coffee was hot, fast and when I set it for 8oz, it stopped at exactly 8oz. The damage to the box was the fault of AMAZON not the company.

This pod coffee maker works well. It needs to be decalcified at least once a month and use an unfolded paper clip to frequently clean out the openings in the two tiny needle spouts that pierce the pods.

Hubs drinks decaf. When I ordered this I also ordered a pack of four metal reusable cups which fit perfectly but did not hold as much coffee as the plastic one with handle which came with the coffee maker. They are also hot to remove if you want a second cup right away. Ended up returning and replacing with two Solo instant pods with handle for same price. The handle is very useful and makes for easy insert and removal. These hold two tablespoons of coffee grounds as opposed to 1-1/2 in the K pods. After trying various combinations we use the bold setting and 10oz option to get the strength desired. There is an 8 or 12 oz option if you like stronger or weaker. I am in love with this one. I had the Keurig but I wanted to give this one a try. I bought it used like new. I only had to clean old coffee. The instructions were included and it lets you know how to use it and clean it. I really liked that it includes the adapter cup. If you want to use your own coffee instead of the pods, you can. The keurig didn't include mine. I had to buy separately. Overall, this is the greatest purchase I've done. Just put water, put the coffee, power on, select the size and it's done! ... show more
