I've generally had good experiences with the Instant! brand of products. So, I was excited to give this Instant Solo Single Serve Coffee Maker a try. This is kind of an entry-level single-serve coffee maker. It's K-Cup Pod Compatible, though you can also use the Instant! Reusable Pod with it if you want to use ground coffee. The Reusable Pod is sold separately, however, I've used both options and they both work perfectly. Product dimensions are 12.2"D x 5.3"W x 12.4"H. This is really designed to fit well on a kitchen counter. I have a rather small kitchen and had no problem finding space for it. It's also only a little over six pounds, though it feels sturdy and durable. While this is entry-level, I have to say that it goes a notch above. First off, Instant! has incorporated this pre-infusion brew process that allows the coffee to get soaked before brewing. This creates a richer, more flavorful coffee. One of my biggest complaints with other single-serve pod coffee makers is that they don't do this and you end up not getting fully flavored coffee. You can brew 8-ounce, 10-ounce, or 12-ounce coffees. There's also a bold feature that works really well for iced coffee - i love iced coffee and getting both options in this machine is amazing. The 40-ounce removable reservoir is a nice touch. It means I don't have to constantly fill up the machine each time I want a cup. The drip tray is removable. This means I can also use my travel mug (up to 7"). The set-up process was super simple and I was able to handle everything from my wheelchair. The coffee maker is light enough and compact enough that I could easily manage it. I've tried every feature on this coffee maker and I'm super happy. I don't need a super fancy coffee maker, though I do need one that's easy to use, dependable, durable, and has the features I want. This is a fantastic single serve coffee maker. I really like the fact this coffee maker has a good size water tank attached to it. It holds up to 40 oz which means I don't have to fill it as often. The display is touch and it is very easy to see your selection. It is very responsive when you touch it. The lid opens really easily. I also like that I am able to sit a large size cup under it, you can even remove the plate it sits on. It brews a nice cup of coffee and I like the bold selection on the coffee maker. This coffee maker does not take up a lot of space and it has functions to turn off automatically if you forget to turn it off. Overall, I am pleased with this coffee maker. I really like this coffee maker. In my opinion, the Instant brand goes the extra mile on getting the details right. The water tank has a large opening for easy cleaning and holds enough water for one person to make coffee all day. The power and size selection buttons are on the top where they are easy to reach and see. I think the coffee does come out better with the splash of hot water to activate the grounds before pouring the rest through. This single serve K-Cup machine from Instapot is so convenient for us. In the morning we all have different times that we want our coffee or tea. This counter space friendly machine allows us to do a cup of coffee with any pod brewing 8 to 12 ounces. We can even use just the hot water for a cup of tea or cocoa. Quick, easy to operate, and clean! Fill the reservoir with water, place a coffee pod in and select the amount you'd like to brew by ounce; 8,10, or12oz. I can say that I have a cup of coffee in less than 60 seconds! This thing is super quick and most pods will fit it. Love it!

I’m a fan of the Instant Pot brand, so was excited about getting this coffee maker. It’s pretty basic and lets you brew 3 cup sizes (8, 10, and 12 ounces). I wish the reservoir held more water for less frequent filling, but this model IS called the “Solo” version.

I love the single serve coffee maker by instant. It has a carafe built into the back that can hold enough water for four individual cups of coffee.
