We're really happy with these cameras, we have two of them and my kids love them. They are kids cameras, so they have a toyish quality, but they're sturdy and have survived several drops already. The kids love that they can print out their own pictures, and I like that I can turn off the auto print setting so they only print out the pictures they really want. The kids enjoy playing the games and they like the fun filters and frames. The only real problem we've had with the camera is that when deleting unwanted pictures it's really easy for the kids to accidentally delete all of their pictures, that's happened several times and then they're really upset that all of their favorite pictures and videos are gone and unrecoverable. I wish the option to permanently delete all was in the settings section instead of where the kids are scrolling through and sorting their pictures. It's easy for her to use with supervision, but it has too many options that we'll never use. I also wish the bottom didn't pop open so easy. I'm often chasing a roll of paper across the floor. My daughter has had this camera for over a year now and still loves using it. She got it for her 6th birthday and after showing her a few times how to use it shes able to do it by herself. The receipt like paper is great because it prints a lot of pictures and is fairly cheap to refill. Perfect for kids learning to take photos without having to use the expensive photo films during this journey. I bought this Dylanto kids’ instant-print camera for my 7-year-old’s birthday. I figured it would last about a week before something broke or he lost interest. Instead, he’s been running around like a tiny paparazzi ever since. Every stuffed animal, every sandwich, every sibling — all documented. The best part is the instant printing. He takes a picture, it spits out a little black-and-white photo in seconds, and he treats it like treasure. The quality isn’t photo-lab perfect, but for kids, it’s more about the magic than megapixels. The prints are clear enough to recognize faces and hilarious expressions, which is all we need. Setup was easy. It comes with rolls of paper, a charger, and buttons big enough that kids can actually figure them out. He didn’t need my help after the first few minutes, which felt like a parenting miracle. The camera itself feels sturdy: dropped twice on the hardwood floor already, still working fine. The battery lasts through a full day of “photojournalism,” and the screen’s bright enough for outdoor use. This makes a great gift but Im hesitant about it because after my daughter used it for only 2 weeks, the sound on the camera stopped working. The camera works fine, but there is absolutely no sound.
