- 2) After removing the lens protector, apply new adhesives before reattaching the One X2.
- 3) The lens protector is splash proof, but not suitable for use underwater. Use the diving bag for underwater shots instead.

woah do these work, difficult to secure around the Head however once on boy can they handle a load!!! Safety first always got to keep that head solid. I also attached one to my pet birds head now he is able to combat MANY more enemies. not the same head tho I'm not some weirdo. however my neighbor is so I attached one of these to his rear view mirror in hopes for some form of a refraction that would blind him while he is driving away. I really don't like that guy but these caps are great. id buy them again if I didn't aready spend all my money on these little caps. I put sixteen on an unattended child at the mall last Tuesday. I went to church with dozens of them and when into the confession booth and It almost looks bubble-wrapped at this point. if I didn't donate so frequently I'm sure they would ask me not to return. I gave my 6 year old a pair of glasses made from these lenses, it did nothing for his vision but he doesn't seem to mind or understand because they are his first pair as well as he is slightly off. I pressed the first one of these I got onto his soft spot as a child and it really did some damage, that is why I gave one star for installation as nothing in the packaging said not to press this into the soft spot of an infants head as a safety precaution.

Lens guards… $20 to protect a $500 investment
So… right off the bat, you have to be conscious of lens flares. They happen. It is worse with the lens guards, any lens guards. With that out of the way… Stitching is fine. Images are fine. Bounce the camera once off the ground and get the slightest scuff on the actual lens and you are going to wish you had some lens protection. I am going to try the dive case next as… well I have a wife and kids who would like to use it, but I already had one instance where to turn off the camera they pulled the battery and didn’t reseat it. Scary moment. *EDIT* The suction cup mount failed. Someone used duct tape on the glass and caused air to bypass the cup. Camera took a tumble. Lens protector shattered in half. Time to buy a new set… but that is way better than having to buy a new camera or shipping it away for repair. Also… I have included a 360 photo with the Lens Guard's installed… you cannot tell where the stitch line is unless you look at the bottom where the Aluminum Frame can be seen.

These Lens Guards Saved My Camera
I had a mount break while riding on a rocky trail on my mountain bike. The camera hit and slid on some rocks. The only damage was 2 scratches on one of the lens guards. No damage to the lens it was protecting. The product did its job. This order was for the replacement guard. Much cheaper than buying a new camera.

I'm not operating my camera without these. Money savers
First you should know this: this will change what the border between the two cameras looks like in some instances, by which i mean that things don't mesh together as well, but it's still workable (and yes, I have selected the option in the app that says I'm using these) But these are great. I have scratched these twice now and i would much rather replace these than have to deal with a scratched lens. Easy to pop off but they won't come off accidentally. Easy to install. A must buy, even with the issues mentioned above

Guys this is A MUST PURCHASE for your 360 degree camera. It costs nothing compared to the headache you would have once you break or scratch one of the cams. Without working cams, the device is nothing. Please buy and put these on before you regret.

THEY WORK!
Face planted while roller skating and my Insta360 hit the ground. Both lens guards shattered, but the camera lenses are okay! Definitely protect your investment with these.

They protect!
Plus: they did their job protecting the lens and didn't shatter to bits when my camera fell on a rock, lens first! Minus: glare and fog beneath the lens. Glare is more common. Fog came when I was using this in cold underwater filming and it started to leak very slightly. By no means an issue with the quality I'd say, just downfall of a lens protector on 360 action cameras. Glare can be countered by rotating the camera. Overall, lens protector will protect the lens but consider getting a removable one if you're using underwater often.

Protective necessity
If you are using a Insta360 and riding on pavement, is definitely a must buy. You drop your camera without protective lens at high speed, your camera is done.
