I love this mattress. We bought it for camping, as silly as that may sound. Inflatable mattresses don't last long and patching them is a hassle when you can't find the leak. What we do with this is put it in a mattress bag and suck out the air with a small wetvac for transportation. It makes sleeping SO MUCH BETTER after a long day hiking or at a festival.

UPDATE: The manufacturer offered a partial refund which was greatly appreciated and accepted. I have slept on it several times in the past year--so much better than an air mattress! It is VERY comfortable, no hip or back pain in the morning. It is bulky so if you are bringing it camping, I hope you have a large vehicle. I have seen people use this type of mattress for car/van camping as well. I use it in a large 10x9 tent with a folding metal bed frame at music festivals. Having an elevated bed makes getting up in the morning so much easier after a long night of dancing! Handles and velcro straps would make this easier to maneuver but I use ropes and a storage bag with handles. I would recommend this product. The mattress came in a box, compressed and tightly wrapped in plastic. I released it from its plastic enclosures and left it open and extended on my guest bed to expand for over a week before folding it up to store it away. The manufacturer says to wait 72 hours. It has now been 14 days, and it still is not the full 6" on all 3 sections. One section measures 5 5/16", the middle section is 5 3/4", the last section measures about 5 1/4". See the attached pictures. I bought this mattress for an upcoming music festival/camping event. I have not slept on it yet so I can not comment on how comfortable it is but I am sure this will be more comfortable than an air mattress. It is bulky and difficult to move--it does not have handles nor does it have a convenient storage bag. I plan on purchasing a storage bag from another manufacturer for an added cost of $20+. Due to its size, it will be more difficult to store than an air mattress but hopefully it will provide more comfort that makes it worth the additional storage space. There is a slight smell to it. I am not sure if it will be noticeable or bothersome when covered with sheets and blankets. PROS: folds up purchased on a "lightning deal" so I saved $50 removable & washable cover 100-night trial and 10 year warranty CONS: it is not exactly 6" when fully expanded no handles so it is extremely awkward when trying to move it no carrying/storage case (can be purchased for $20 from another seller) I will update review once I have slept on it.

I agree that this mattress does look very flat but if you do allow it to decompress from its vacuum stored form, it will go back to its fluffy form, it just takes a couple days for it to air out. One thing that I like about this mattress is that it is firm.I went with the 8 inch version as I am staying temporarily at a relatives home assisting with care of an elderly grandmother and I planned to use it with a futon style/topper and as I am using it as the box spring, I weight appx 200 lbs and half expected to feel the floor when I purchased it ..but it has actually supported my weight so far. I needed it to be firm. I topped it and I recommend topping this mattress with a tempur-pedic medium-soft mattress topper. And I have not been so comfortable! When I slept the first few nights, I expected a not-so-restful sleep as it was a new mattress setup that needed to be “broken-in”. But, I was pleasantly surprised that I have been able to get a full nights sleep ever since. I credit the comfortable sleep with this firm “box spring” with just enough bounce and the tempur-pedic topper which provides the softness and comfort. So … I do agree that it is firm, but I like it. Overall…. I am pleasantly surprised. I sleep well and feel completely comfortable. I can see why someone would want to purchase a nice soft topper for it because it is firm. I love the bed and it is I also really didn't have high expectations for this mattress. I also agree that a bonus to this mattress is… that this mattress is easily folded up and stored, or can be used as an extra seating area. The pad can be easily unzipped and washed. Each mat has it's own special cubby in the pad and can be swapped around and fluffed as needed. Super easy to clean and I think it will have a very extended life because of this. I already have ideas for other uses when the trifold no longer holds it's shape, but I think based on how many nights we've spent on this, we will be enjoying it for quite some time.

Holy Hannah, I’m not sure what I was expecting, but this mattress makes a plain old cot as comfortable as my combo air and memory foam type mattress that was damnably expensive, if not even more comfortable! Camping in my truck will be downright decadent with this baby. :-D

Inofia 31" Cot (6" thick). Received item very nicely packaged/protected (vacuum sealed). Box contains a cutter and very nice instructions/ warranty info- 10/10 for professionalism. Took about 24 hours for product to fully rebound- it was useable in 30 minutes. Love the zippered cover and it keeps the three pieces together snugly when laid flat. Mattress is very firm (which I find comfortable- subjective). Soft mat pad could be added if desired (I have several I am not using...). Mattress is easy to pick-up and fold- stores nicely when not used. I am 5'8"; 170 lbs and I fit on this mat without my arms falling off while sleeping. Have slept on it for several days- like a baby. It fits on my (large) cot-frame perfectly. 10 out of 10 points. Nice product.
