    • These speakers “Rock”
Style: Solar Color: Charcoal
These speakers are great. My GF and myself are old rockers, 64 & 73, so we are our not really audiophiles, we just like music with cocktails. You must turn on each speaker by pushing the power button on each speaker for 2-3 seconds. Each one will beep a few tones, then they will beep together. The speakers show up on my Bluetooth devices menu as “Rock” and that is it. Pandora works fine, they shutdown after 15 minutes of no activity. The solar cells seem to keep them charged, they worked out of the box, no extra charge needed… Worth the $’s… ... show more

    • They rocked, for a limited time.
Style: Solar Color: Charcoal
Out of the box these speakers were pretty good. Connecting was easy and the sound quality was good for a $100 set of speakers. But, when the honeymoon was over these rocks turned into just that, rocks. Here is a list of reasons to look at other speakers. 1. I found that connecting with a device to the speakers then effected trying to connect with another device. My son would use his phone to connect then when I tried to use my phone it would only remember his. I'd have to have him turn his bluetooth off to have any chance of connecting my phone. 2. I had my rocks about 15 feet apart and the connection was often static filled. 3. It would take multiple attempts to pair them together and then connect to a device. 4. If it's cloudy out during the day you'll get very limited play time. 5. One Texas summer and the solar screen is falling apart. Not very durable. 6. Now I can only get one of the speakers to work, the other has a red light that just flickers. The working speaker will then just shut off at will. The 5 Star reviews I read appear too be from people that just took their rocks out of the box. Give them a few months and then review. On the bright side they're cheaper than real rocks that you would use to decorate your yard. So, I've got that going for me. ... show more

    • 9 Months of Awesome Sound
Style: Solar Color: Charcoal
We purchased these in March of 24 and I wanted to wait to provide a review. These speakers are awesome. We live in metro Phoenix so I wondered how they would the heat. Answer... No problem. I initially charged them using the power cord in March; the sun has been charging them for 9 months since. So if you live in a sunny location, these are the best. Great sound, easy paring with your devices, and are portable. Even if not in an area as sunny as AZ, I bet they would work as well as they are in the shade all afternoon after being recharged in the morning sun. The range of connectivity is variable, but overall, if your phone is within 20 feet or so, you should be good. My only 2 complaints are: 1. You have to turn each one on separately, yet you can turn both off by turning one off. 2. I wish they incorporated a handle within the design so they are easier to move. Those are minor issues compared to how well they work. Bottom line... Buy them. ... show more

    • Should have lasted longer, but good sound
Style: Solar Color: Charcoal
Purchased in 2022. For the last year one has worked intermittently. It would be a design upgrade if there was an actual on off button instead the one just keeps chiming and beeping. Otherwise the sound was great and they look good. Wish it lasted longer.

    • Great outdoor speakers
Style: Solar Color: Charcoal
I’ve used these speakers quite a bit this summer and I’m very happy with them. The sound isn’t extremely loud, but it’s more than enough to sit outside, relax, and enjoy some music. They charge well with the solar panels, the Bluetooth connection works great, and so far I haven’t had any problems with them. Very good outdoor speakers for the price. ... show more

    • Good Functionality But Poor Sound
Style: Solar Color: Charcoal
Purchased these speakers to replace Ion solar rock speakers that sounded pretty good but never synced and lasted less than a year. These speakers are much easier to use, they operate well and sync easily. Unfortunately, the sound is thin, tinny and weak with virtually no base to speak of. While it would be unreasonable to expect a set of small, solar powered outdoor speakers to provide high quality sound, these are really bad. I would estimate the sound quality of these speakers to be about 60-70% less than the Ions. So far, my experience with solar rock speakers has generally been poor. It seems that the ones that sound good have poor functionality and durability while the ones that operate well and last longer have bad sound. ... show more

    • Impressive Sound

I bought these outdoor speakers in June 2022 and have had them over a year. Full disclosure I did buy a returned pair so that may have been why one of the speakers quit connecting to the other after a year. All of last summer these worked AWESOME and I was sooo happy with them. Easy to connect to Bluetooth, easy to connect to each other and I ran them off my iPad which stayed in the house most of the time. So I was really please with the control range I had with them. I took them inside over the winter and brought them out in late April of this year to use. All was working well until about three weeks ago when one of them quit syncing to the other. It was fully charged, just would not sync. Unfortunately after several attempts to turn them on and off and resync them, the small tab broke off and now it won’t work at all. I was extremely disappointed and for the price I feel I should have gotten more than one summer’s use from them. I did buy a 2nd set because some of the reviews say you can link multiple speakers. I hope this will work. If not I will return the other two speakers and try a different brand. Overall I was really pleased with the speakers (enough to buy a second set) until the tab broke on the on/off/sync button. Poor quality workmanship, but the sound and other features of this speaker are quite good. ... show more
