  • I love it just what I needed.
Color: Black Style: Extended Mic Arm
Alright, let me tell you about the InnoGear Boom Arm Microphone Mic Stand—this thing is a game-changer for anyone serious about their audio setup. Whether you're streaming, podcasting, or just want to upgrade your home office, this mic stand is the real deal. First off, the build quality is solid. The arm feels sturdy and well-made, with a nice heft to it that gives you confidence it won't sag under the weight of your microphone. The black finish looks sleek and professional, fitting right in with the rest of my gear. Setting it up was a breeze. The clamp is robust and easily attaches to the edge of my desk without any wobbling. The adjustable arm provides a ton of flexibility, allowing me to position the mic exactly where I need it. Whether I’m sitting back or leaning in close, it holds its position perfectly. One of the best features of the InnoGear Boom Arm is the spring-loaded mechanism. It’s smooth and quiet, so I don’t have to worry about any creaking noises getting picked up by the mic. Plus, the range of motion is impressive—I can move the mic around effortlessly to get the best angle for my voice. The cable management is another nice touch. The included Velcro straps keep everything tidy and prevent the cords from dangling all over the place. It keeps my setup looking clean and organized, which is a big plus. In terms of performance, this boom arm doesn’t disappoint. It’s stable and holds my mic securely, even when I’m making adjustments on the fly. No more worrying about the mic drifting out of place or picking up unwanted vibrations. In conclusion, the InnoGear Boom Arm Microphone Mic Stand is a must-have for anyone looking to step up their audio game. It’s sturdy, flexible, and easy to set up, making it a perfect addition to any recording or streaming setup. Highly recommended for dudes who want a professional-quality mic stand without breaking the bank! ... show more

  • Good first purchase
Color: Black Style: Extended Mic Arm
This is the first time I have ever bought a mic arm so I did not want to spend too much money on one. I’ve also heard many stories about cheap mic arms starting to fail after some time so I didn’t want to go too cheap either. Currently this mic arm seems to be both sturdy and non expensive. It has a decent reach and decent mobility. The length I have it extended in the photos is not it’s maximum reach, but I needed it to reach lower since it’s used at a sitting desk. Overall it’s good quality, no signs or wobble or looseness. However keep in mind that I am using this arm to support a VERY light microphone. Specifically the maono mic which I also found on amazon. I cannot speak for how it holds up heavier mics. If you are just getting into content creation or even if you just want something to help clear your desk, I think this is a good first purchase. If it fails early I will leave an update. ... show more

  • A Budget Boom Arm That Gets the Job Done
Color: Black Style: Extended Mic Arm
I picked up the InnoGear boom arm mic stand to upgrade my desk setup, and after using it for a while with my Blue Yeti, I’ve got a pretty good feel for what it does well—and where it falls a bit short. Right out of the box, I liked how easy it was to set up. The clamp attached securely to my desk, and I had everything assembled in just a few minutes without needing any special tools. It felt like a quick, no-hassle upgrade compared to the bulky desk stand I was using before. One of the biggest improvements for me was the flexibility. I can easily swing the arm into position when I’m recording or on a call, then push it out of the way when I’m done. It’s made my workspace feel a lot cleaner and more functional. The range of motion is solid, and it holds its position well once you tighten everything down. For lighter microphones, this arm works great. It handled my setup without much issue most of the time, and I didn’t have to constantly readjust it. However, I did notice that with slightly heavier mics, it can start to sag a little if the tension isn’t just right. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does mean you might have to tweak it occasionally. The build quality is decent for the price. It’s mostly metal, which I appreciate, but it doesn’t feel premium. The springs can be a bit squeaky when moving the arm, and the overall feel is more “functional” than refined. Another thing I found helpful is the cable management clips. They keep the mic cable tucked along the arm, which makes everything look more organized and less cluttered. That said, the desk clamp can be a bit hit or miss depending on your setup. On my desk it holds fine, but I can see it being less stable on thinner or smoother surfaces. Final Thoughts... For me, the InnoGear boom arm is a solid budget option that does exactly what I need it to do. It’s not perfect, but for everyday use—gaming, streaming, or video calls—it’s a big step up from a basic desk stand. If you’re looking for an affordable, flexible mic arm and don’t mind a few small quirks, it’s definitely worth considering. ... show more

  • Works quite well with my SM7B
Color: Black Style: Extended Mic Arm
Was looking for an effective articulated mic stand for my Shure SM7B. This microphone is a heavy beast and I need something that would hold it in place and not slide around over time. This stand seems to do this quite well. I actually have another stand that has a balanced XLR cable built into it that was so heavy that the bracket I made to hold it to my table leg kept rotating no matter what I tried. It was just too heavy! I then decided to try the InnoGear. It's MUCH lighter but holds the microphone in place without issues. Clamping it to my bracket was a no-brainer. They also supplied a half-dozen velcro ties to hold the balanced mic cable out of the way. A very nice gesture! Everything fits together properly and with the stand, cable, cable ties, and microphone being black, it all blends into my shadow-filled background with ease. A worthy investment!! ... show more
