    • A STABLE AND ROBUST MIC ARM THAT DOESN'T DISAPPOINT
This is a fairly priced stable and robust Mic arm that easily attaches to anything with a little lip on it. Such as a desk in my case from which I do voice over content for training videos. In my experience if you want a stable platform then it should support at least 2x the amount of weight that you reasonably expect to put on it. This Mic Arm does exactly that supporting 3.5lbs which would be a very heavy modern Mic. Another thing I really like about this Mic Arm is that it has cable management built right in. The detachable riser is super handy for me as sometimes I need my Mic to route over a monitor or other obstacle and the adjustable tension knobs allow me to perfectly dial in the amount of resistance I want. At the time I ordered mine, it was going for $39.99 and I feel like that is a very fair price for a superb Mic Arm. I will update this review if anything changes within 1 year.     • Great mic boom
This mic boom is an incredible deal for the price. It does a great job holding up my Shure SM7B without any problems. The cable channel in this also works really well to keep it out of the way. Moving the boom is super easy which is really nice for when I need to get it out of my way when I am working on my computer. I have another similar mic boom (elgato) that I paid double what this one is selling for and it is nowhere near as good as this one. ... show more

    • Really solid!
I have several desktop boom stands, and they vary wildly in quality. Unfortunately for the buyer, it’s really difficult to tell whether you’re looking at a quality product online, and you may never know until you’ve ordered it and it arrives. I’ve been disappointed a few times. This was not one of those disappointing times. This boom stand is the best one I have seen at this price. It’s really solid, and my heaviest mic, an EV RE20 broadcast mic, is rock solid and stable. So many of these booms have 1/4” or 3/8” threads for the microphone mount… those usually require an adapter to get to the “standard” 5/8” threads on most mic clips or shock mounts. This boom has 5/8” threads as the native connection. That is a refreshing feature. Cable management is excellent and quite easy to use, and has plenty of room for multiple cables as is often needed with USB podcast and gaming mics. The desk clamp is solid and easy to use. The bottom line here, is that this is an outstanding boom, and an exceptional upgrade from the majority of these units. It’s an incredible value at this price and I highly recommend it. I was using an old mic arm for my desk that I use while working at home. It was the most basic one I could find and unfortunately it shows. This one, in contrast, looks sturdy, feels sturdy, and has some neat features that are unique to this arm. As you can see side-by-side with my old arm, the one-piece construction cleans things up significantly. Having a cable channel built in really helps and was very easy to use. Not only that, the desk clamp is equally as much of an upgrade along with the extender bar. When I move the mic now, it feels better and goes where I want it to. I think it was an excellent upgrade and I’d order again without hesitation. ... show more
