I've been using my SHURE microphone on a desktop stand, it was staking up desk space and was constantly in the way. Since my desk also doubles as my podcast studio, I needed something that would get the microphone out of the way without making it harder to record. This boom arm was easy to install, and attaching my microphone took just a few minutes. I especially like the built-in cable management, which keeps the USB cable neat and out of the way instead of hanging from the boom. When I'm recording, I can pull the mic right where I need it for great sound. When I'm done, it swings completely out of the way so I have my desk back. The arm moves smoothly, is easy to adjust, and stays put. For the quality and functionality, I think this is a great value for the money. This arm is exactly what I was looking for. It has an extender to make it higher so I was able to have it go above my monitors and come back down when I need it. Super easy installation and has the best cord hider I have seen yet from a mic arm. It fit perfectly into my complex setup. Very compatible if you have monitors and want a mic to come over. The movements on it are also very fluid and strong. And it holds my microphone perfectly when I mounted it so it’s mount ability and ease of use makes it a no brainer purchase ... show more

I bought this to hold my fifine am8 as well as to test out my Audiopro. But over all it's been fantastic for my fifine am8. Holds it great, it can swivel well and really adjust the way I need it. My only issue is that it is a little stiff when trying to pull it towards me. I'm hoping that's just because I haven't had it and used it for a while, so hopefully that will sort itself out. But for now, it is definitely a good purchase. There are cheaper ones on the market, but I like how sturdy this one is without having to pay $100 or so. As for my Audiopro, I only tried to connect it once and it didn't work. But I think that's more my audiopro and trying to remove it from its base. But if I remove the am8 from it's base and replace it with the audiopro that should work just fine. Update: I needed another boom arm for another mic I have. I tried a few other ones and they just didn't work anywhere near as well as this one did. So I'm buying a second one of these. Definitely recommend. ... show more
