Overall I think this is one of the best looking diffusers, and it can output a lot of...mist? Original review: This has the most obnoxious loud whistle while it’s turned on. Sounds almost like a cricket. I thought it might be the air pushing through the hole that created the whistle, but after testing I can confirm it’s the motor. Got this from Amazon but it was sold by a different seller and not by innogear as I had taught it would have been. The unit was dead on arrival. It was nice and solid, but no mist or ambient noise as advertised. If your getting on make sure its coming Amazon or Innogear. I have purchased other innogear products and they are pretty solid. Update: 06/02/20 I just wanted to reach out and provide an update. Both Innogear and the third party seller reached out to me in order to help out and make things right. Innogear reached out to the seller on my behalf and the seller-provided me with a replacement unit which works perfectly as advertised. I guess that first one was just a defective unit. Zero stars because it quit working literally the second time I used it.. the lights still come on but no diffusing at all. Waited and let sit for days and tried again, nothing. Waited again, tried again, nothing. So my money down the toilet, unless company sees this review and gives me credit or something........... so update since this review, manufacturer emailed me and DID send me a new one and were very promp and easy to work with. I was very appreciative for their great response and the new one works fine so far, so thank you! ... show more

...I picked a dark diffuser and it came white cord. I was unhappy. I really liked the defuser operation....it was great smelling, but, I didn’t like the white cord...I asked inno to allow me to buy a cord...Well, INNO DHLd a whole new infuser and it came with a black cord! And, just to be doubly sure...INNO included an extra black cord!!! INNOs 100% guarantee really went the extra extra mile...WOW WOW WOW!!! And, it’s the best defuser with the best smell of all brands! I will be returning this diffuser tomorrow as i just received it yesterday. It is now 5am and i am trying to relax with the essential oils i purchased for my diffuser. Let me just tell you this diffuser is awful when it comes to noise!!! It sounds like a car alarm going off but on low volume! Super bummed because i did love how it worked but i can’t take the sound. I use this in my bedroom because the timer setting keeps it from running all night. It's fairly quiet, and the lights aren't super bright, but provide enough light to grab something off the nightstand. The only con I can think of is flipping through all the colors to turn the lights off.
