So i bought this 7800X3D/B650 combo for my new custom PC build. I see quite a bit of bad reviews from people saying the B650 gaming plus is buggy, but I have not had any issues. Before installing this M/B into my case, I did a BIOS flash to the newest MSI b650 driver just to make sure I get the most out of this setup. So I installed everything on my pc case, and it was time to do the first POST/Boot, so I can install windows 11. Everything posted right up, and it was a breeze. Super quick with everything with the 7800X3D. The motherboard itself feels quality, and the build quality is awesome, and it works great. I paired this combo with 32gb of DDR5 ram, and a ASUS TUF OC 4060ti, and I get 80-120fps on MSFS with max graphic settings at 1080p, with airliners that usually use up lots of memory. But 80-120fps is plenty good enough for me. On some of the other games, I get 150+fps with everything maxed out. Super happy with this 7800X3D/B650 Combo!

I bought this set to upgrade my amd 5800x and a x570 motherboard. I should say upfront I am probably the exception shopper as I do not play computer games. I realize that most people making this upgrade are gamers. I cannot speak for how that would work out but I do use my computer for demanding apps that require heavy computations. This 7700x and motherboard far exceeded my expectations. It is a substantial upgrade for heavy computations from my 5800x. I am also pleased to say that it was an easy install and worked from the first boot. This newer generation is fantastic for a very modest cost.

This mobo+ cpu combo was a perfect start after upgrading my GPU to an rtx 5080. The i5 10600kf I had in prior was bottlenecking the system with that new beefy GPU. I love that this is an affordable option, with plenty of cpu upgradeability in the future! That being said, the 7600X is performing much better thann I expected!

The AMD CPU works great. The motherboard, however, is an issue. I had to do a step mflash BIOS update to get boot times to normal. The update did not fix USB issue. My peripheral devices would suddenly stop working. I did diver and windows updates but nothing would fix the problem. I finally narrowed it down to the the USB ports on the IO panel. I tried to open a support ticket with MSI, but they do not have anyone for motherboard issues on the weekend. Thankfully my case USB ports work, so I am running off of those to type this review. It has been a few months of frustration to at least figure out what is wrong. If I have to RMA the board (which I imagine will be required), I will be extremely disappointed to have to tear my whole PC apart to remove and install a new board, that I do not know if I'll even be able to trust.

Built this up with a mix of parts including gskill DDR 5 memory and an inland m2 @2tb and Asus titanium 1070 and she rips. Make sure you have the and chipset drivers in hand before you tear up your other rigs to Frankenstein the new hotness. The board has plenty of headers for fans and lights, the mystic lights app makes a mood lamp out of any attached RGB, it slotted right in to a Corsair 3500 case with a cooler master CPU tower no problem. Booted right up and was rocking in 90 minutes.

First time building a PC. I wish the instructions were a little more thorough, but it was easy to install. Only gripe was how the panel did not properly fit with the ports. I had to bend a a clip so it did not feed into the one of the USB ports. Wifi works great and the CPU has been very fast

Perfect bundle for my first build. I paired these with a 7800XT GPU and it's a beast of a computer compared to my old pre built PC. The CPU pairs perfectly with the GPU I bought, and I've yet to find a game that runs max graphics settings under 100fps at 1080p. The motherboard is great, with plenty of RGB headers and ample space to plug things in.
