This is an excellent, quality setup which really is well suited to advanced tattooists, as well as beginners. The kit is centered around a great tattoo pen. I will add that this pen is FAT!!! The reason I mention that is that most beginning tattooists gravitate toward a slimmer tattoo pen, while more experienced tattooists will opt for the thicker ones. The pen in this kit is great, having parallel sides, making it simple to make it even thicker using grip tape and paper towers. When you're working long hours tattooing it's really far kinder to your hands to work with a fatter grip. Personal preference plays a part, as well. The tattoo pen is not without it's faults, however, and I noted significant vibration in the mid to higher voltages. It's got an outstanding digital LED readout on the side, featuring 3 button operation (on/off, plus, minus). Very nice gun, very easy to adjust needle depth. The kit comes in what is easily the nicest carrying case I've come across for tattoo gear. It's a hard case with zipper closure. It has "InkIn" embossed on the top. Inside is a large zippered compartment containing 40 outstanding tattoo needle cartridges. They are (20) of the 1201RL (round liner), and 20 of the 1203RL (round liner). All of the included cartridges are liners (obviously), but it's rather unique to find the 1201RL included. That's because the "1" is a single needle, and is used for highly detailed, very fine tattoo work. All of the needles are sterilized, packed in individual blister packs and have the date, lot, and expiration date listed on the back. The style and size of the needle cartridge is there, as well. Beautiful cartridges. Also included in this kit are a box of clear covers for your tattoo pen, to keep it hygienic, a single roll of wide camouflage grip tape, a large set of ink caps (the largest set I've come across in any kit), a single set of black latex exam gloves, a single cover sheet for your work area, and an instruction book. I really think that this is a super kit. I love the tattoo pen, and it really shines with this kit. What's missing: So, there are a few necessary items missing from this kit if you're a beginner. These include a bottle of blank ink (or, better yet... a set of inks, including black), tattoo practice skin, and tattoo design transfer paper. If you're just getting started you may consider getting synthetic tattoo transfer paper that has a few tattoo designs already printed upon it. That will make your first practice sessions a good deal easier. Great kit. Nicely done, InkIn!!! ... show more

This tattoo pen set is pretty awesome,it comes with almost everything needed for a beginning or professional artist, I like that it has a light vibration with different intensity modes,is easy to use and has a decent battery life of up to 5 hours with just 2 hours of charging time, but prefer a thinner model to make it easier to hold and operate with the size of my hand, overall a good tattoo pen set. ... show more
