Ordered this to try out the pen style tattoo machines as I normally use coil machines for 20 years and some rotaries. It is very easy to use, the quality of this machine is great. It is very functional with the options it provides like 2 batteries, rca connection and the stippling effect. Wish it had a wider grip option but some folded paper towel and grip tape will do the trick. Well worth the money and I love the design of this machine.

Please... don't toss out the rest of this kit, it's all excellent. However, I'm making a point here. That point is tht this tattoo pen runs so incredibly well that you could pay the purchase price for the pen alone, and it would be a superb value. The kit is wonderful, and equally wonderful is the zippered, large InkIn carry case. But let's talk about the pen. The pen has a great shape, and is easy to make fatter with just folded paper towel, and some grip tape. The pen has a working range is from 4.0v all the way to 12.0v, and this pen runs silently, and with no discernable vibration, pretty much throughout. The pen adjusts in 1/10th volt increments. Worried about running out of battery power? No worries, since there is a second battery pack, that snaps right on the pen. You can also opt to use the included (color coordinated) RCA jack cap, allowing you to go with an AC power supply. The fit and finish on the pen (dark green) is excellent, as well. The pen has adjustable stroke, as well, and it has a phenomenal range of 2.0mm, all the way to 4.2mm. Darn impressive! The pen has a fantastic digital readout, which is multi-color, and gives all pertinent info, while being easy to read. There is a 3 button operation, which is both easy to use, and completely intuitive. There is a charge port at the top (USB-C), and a charging cable is included (USB-A to USB-C), as well as a clip cord, for working with an AC power supply. The rest of the kit is very good, and I'm not going to spell out all the cool stuff that's included (there's a lot!), because the PEN is such a standout. Even a beginner will benefit from such a fine rotary pen. This one is a jewel, and is as nice as others costing 3 times the price! I love this tattoo pen, and I highly recommend it. Super value!
