This is the first pen style I’ve tried so I have nothing else to compare it with. I run around 7v and have had no issues with the strength or performance. For the price it’s an excellent starter pen. Handles lining and shading fairly well. I do recommend wrapping it with self adhesive tape to make the grip a little thicker, as is controlling your line work is a bit more challenging without it. The pen material is fairly slick so the tape will help greatly. Overall I’m very satisfied.

I’ve used this for a few weeks. It was already faulty the first day of use. When inserting the cartridge in the machine, it would randomly decide not to run. I would have to keep in taking out the cartridge and putting it in again only to get it to work for 5 minutes before it stopped. The cord that comes with it became faulty after a few days causing the machine to intermittently stop during my appointment. Now today the machine started rattling and shaking so loud it made my lines shakey. I wouldn’t recommend this machine.
