    • Decent for periodic usage and doubles as a pizza spatula
The nice thing about this kit is it opens up new uses for your standard backyard grill. Although, I highly recommend using a gas grill because the temperature is easier to regulate. Once you find the right balance of heat and timing it's easy to bake a pizza. Just be sure to oil the pan ahead of time so the crust doesn't stick. Compared to professional wood-fired pizza baked in a brick oven it's not exactly the same. But it adds some novelty to the homecooked pizza experience. The thermometer gun feels kind of flimsy, but it's a nice little add-on for people who want to monitor the surface temperature of their pizza or other BBQ items. Bear in mind the pizza pan's handle does not come off, although it does fold out of the way for storage. On a rectangular grill, you should be able to shut the lid with the handle sticking out. As an added benefit, if you also cook pizza in your standard kitchen oven, you can use the pan as a giant spatula for taking pizza's out of the oven. Good pizza oven accessories. The pizza peel is on the heavy side, compared to other two that I have. The cutter works well and the thermometer, which is the main reason why I ordered this kit, works great. It uses 2 AAA batteries and I like that it doesn't have a dedicated switch to turn it on and off. The trigger works for turning it on and it will turn off by itself after a few seconds. I think the price is a little bit too high for this kit though. ... show more

The pizza peel works great. It seems to be sturdy enough and the pizza slides on and off easily. The pizza cutter slices through pizza easily. I would recommend that a cover be included for the blade for safety. I found the thermometer was consistently about 40 degrees off from my instant read thermometer. This wasn't much of a problem because knowing this, I compensated with more heat or time. ... show more

    • Some weaknesses
Overall I like this pack, but there are some weak points. First, the peel is very good - I think I like the thin metal over the pretty wood, especially for my outdoor pizza oven. The cutter, however, needs a bit of work. I don't know if it's the angle or what, but it just didn't reliably cut for me. It seemed to have a better time with the thin crust than the thick, so make of that what you will. Then there's the thermometer. Points for including it, though I kind of wish batteries were included. In terms of utility I generally use it to check oven temps before I toss the pizza in, but other than that it stays to the side. So I like the idea here, but of the three the pizza cutter is the weak point, and the infrared thermometer is of relatively infrequent use. Still a decent package and overall I think it's a good set for the beginner. ... show more

This is a great accessory kit. The peel works great and the handle flips for easier storage. It makes it so much easier to transport the pizza from the kitchen to the oven on the patio. I'm going to guess that the thermometer is pretty accurate. The grill thermometer, the pizza oven thermometer, and the gun were all within a few degrees of each other. I'm a bit disappointed that the pizza wheel didn't come with a blade cover, but it works great! I admit I've yet to master the art of sliding soft dough off it, so I let it rest on the stone for a few and then it slides right off. I'll get better, but for now it's okay. I can get good pizza off my pizza oven and that's the important part! I'd be happy to gift this to anyone into trying to get better at pizza! ... show more

A good pizza peel should have tapered edges, but with metal, it can be a bit of a challenge to keep them from being sharp. Be careful with this one because there's a lot of springiness in the peel and can flex at the wrong time. The peel has a folding handle so it is easier to store. The pizza cutter is great because it is taller so you can make your deep dish, Detroit style, Calzone, or others and cleanly slice through everything. Having a non-contact thermometer is so convenient! Especially when you're waiting for your oven to heat up. Besides, I'm usually so excited about having pizza that I usually forget to turn the oven on until after I've finished working the dough. ... show more

I've only used the INFOOD Pizza Oven Kit a few times, but I'm already impressed. The kit comes with a foldable pizza peel, infrared thermometer, and pizza wheel—all the essentials for homemade pizza making. First off, the foldable pizza peel is a clever design. It's easy to store and does a great job transferring the pizza in and out of the oven. The infrared thermometer is a nice touch for getting the temperature right, and the pizza wheel makes slicing a breeze.
