This is an excellent set of speakers. We got four of the 5 1/4" 5022CFX coaxial speakers to replace the failing paper-cone unbranded stock speakers in my girlfriend's 2002 Hyundai Accent. The two in the rear were super easy to replace in her hatchback, so I replaced those myself and we tried the stereo out with the two stock speakers in the front and the 5022CFX in the rear. Panning the fader from front to rear, I was amazed to find that the clarity and high-end detail was MUCH better coming from the rear Infinity speakers than the front stock speakers, which usually the front speakers sound much clearer and have more detailed high-end just because they are in front. NOT SO! Some people complained about bass not being very good in these speakers, but for her music, which is alternative/rocky stuff, it seemed perfectly adequate, was not muddy or boomy, with tight kick drums and deep, resonating bass guitar. Dynamic range seemed very good across the spectrum, but you can't really expect that much bass from a 5 1/4" speaker in any case. If you need bass for your womp-womp, you should cross these or any other small speakers over with a subwoofer and free them up to focus on midrange. I can't wait to hear the new ones in the front now, but we'll have to wait since we're having it professionally done - I don't feel equipped to take the door apart. Just thought a review with an A/B test of old/new speakers would be helpful for people to know these are STUNNINGLY better than your stock speakers. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

At about 25$ a speaker these are great. Satisfactory bass good treble and mids. Way better than the busted speakers they replaced. Worth every penny and will definitely get another set soon

I bought this set of speakers for my 2014 Hyundai Accent didn't check compatibility before buying but with small adjustment it fit perfectly for all four doors and sound quality is very good clear vivid sound with good bass

Placed these in the back of my Kia Rio, the fronts are 6.5 CDT midrange. Together I have great sound---classic Rock of the 60s'. Had a pro install them with a Blaupunkt amp.

Worked great in the rear of a 03 Toyota Sienna. Could of went a size up had to use universal rings to fit. Sound good.

It's as if they try to take on more bass they can handle. (Turning the bass down results in an overall weak distant lifeless tin can sound, and a LPF shouldn't be necessary for mid speakers) The speakers pronounce the bass fine, impressively actually, but the highs/mids begin to... not distort, but lose definition and muddle together as a result ; as opposed to other speakers that you can clearly distinguish each instrument/sound. Found this to be true for the 3.5"s and the 5.25"s. They do offer a more smooth and natural sound (which is always my goal with stereos) than most aftermarket speakers which have punchy bass and mids/highs tend to be overly crisp and sharp without resonance. ... show more

Great speaker. Got them to replace factory speakers in my son's car. They sound great. I do recommend using a strong amp with them. Did not try them with just the radio but they sound great with the an amp.
