But, I dislike the swivel temperature adjustment. The issue for me is that I find it impossible to adjust while I'm using it. I have to set the brush down to adjust the temperature. And forget switching it to cool to set the shape while the brush is in my hair. Can't do it. This mini oval brush is 700 watts, which is hot enough because I let my hair partially dry before using it. I like that it doesn't have to be super hot to give me a smooth hairstyle . Less damaging, I figure. I have fine, chin length 2b/2C hair and am not able to get a smooth , non frizz hairstyle with a round brush and dryer. I get that with this brush. My hair looks like I've come from the salon, shiny, smooth and no frizz. I just don't know if I'll eventually be able to adjust the temperature without having to set it down . I've tried one other Conair 11/2" round brush, 500 watts, which was a big fail. Too much curl left and oh the frizz! I tried my daughter's Knot Dr, the blue one, which has a larger oval than this, and it left my hair too limp. But it too left me frizz free and shiny.

I have two heads for my Hot Tools Pro Signature Detachable one step blow dry brush (they need to work on shorter names) because the larger head helps with drying and the medium with shape and styling. This case fits either one comfortably with room for some duckbill clips and my little case of silicone earplugs (the brush is awesome and handy but oof! The pitch and volume of the motor is just painful!), is firm enough to protect the head and didn't dent or lose shape after a very full suitcase over the holidays. I'm so glad I had this case because the ones for the whole brush are huge and this way I was able to pack one head in the case and then the corded part.

This is a gamer changer for me. As a curly girls with coils it’s always such a chore blow drying my hair and I never get how the influencers on YouTube do it so easily while also holding a brush or comb! I can never get it right and usually hair looks crazy and dry and brittle when I’m done. So I started saying f it and let my hair air dry for the past yr or so cuz I refused to go through all the bs. Seen someone on IG use this to blow out their hair and the way this thing cuts down time!! Omg I only take about 15-20 mins now to blow out my hair from fully wet to straight and dry I love this and will never use any other blow dryer again unless it’s this but a smaller version. Cuz ummm this thing is heavy and big, slightly uncomfortable holding it while hot and trying not to drop it but it’s truly the best dryer tho. So easy to use and dry your hair and my hair in almost waist length with kinky curls.

I'm one of those people who loves to BE dressed up, but I hate dressing up. In a few minutes my hair is already done with this brush. The only thing I didn't really like is that it doesn't dry my hair quickly. But if your hair is damp it works very well!

I got this along with 3 brush attachments: round brush, volume pick, and a regular rectangle brush. I like using this best with the round brush as the hair sticks to this better and doesn't just get blown off, thanks to thinner bristles that are closer together. Whereas the square brush head attachment doesn't seem as useful. It takes the same amount of time to dry my hair as using a normal hair dryer and round brush, just a little less clumsy having them combined into one unit. It is quite loud too!

we are a 4c family so this hair dryer has been great for us! ive been using this type of hair dryer for several years now and love the ease of it but i wanted something that would be easy to clean. there is no heating element in the head so you can take it off, run it under hot water with soap and scrub it to help remove product build up! i use it on the high heat setting with the chi 44 iron guard spray for the both of us and our hair has reverted back with no heat damage. the only thing that i dont like is that with us having type 4 hair, if the sections arent small enough, at times it feels like im about to break the head off the dryer. i wish that it was more secure. because of this drying is now a bit longer compared to my other dryer. my 11 year old has been able to use this dryer on her own as well.
