I'm 5'8 and ascilate between a 2 and 3X depending on the clothing item. I sized up in these for comfort and they are perfect. The shorts hit just above the knees and are not bulky. They lay nice, have deep pockets and the material is very soft. The colors are rich and they are well-made. Really great, comfortable shorts.

I like the colors, texture of the material and the fit in the waist and buttocks. They are too loose in the legs. I would have given 5 stars choose if less baggy in the legs and a touch shorter.

I purchased these shorts to wear around my house and for working outside in my garden. They are very comfortable and wash well. Unlike some other reviews, I did put them in the dryer on low and they were fine. My rating was not higher, because I found the crotch to be too big. They fit well in all other areas. I always feel that the price was too high, considering how thin and simple the shorts are. If the fit had been better for me and the price more reasonable, I would have purchased in other colors.

I wouldn't recommend these for extreme temperatures. The material is nice and thick. Great if you want to lounge, or exercise, but in the hot sun maybe not. That is a personal preference for me though, I run a bit hot. The material is a good quality. They are well made. The drawstring is a bit too short. I have to fish the ends of the chord from inside the waistband occasionally.
