I bought this flat iron by Conair because I already have a Conair curling iron and love it! I love it because it takes the frizz out of my hair when styling with it. I have blonde highlights and my hair tends to be frizzy and dry looking. Since the Conair curling iron worked so great for me, I decided to give the straightening iron a try as well. It works great! I love this flat iron. My expensive Lange is not heating up like it used to. This flat iron layed my hair super flat, it’s easy to use, heats up super fast, and left it shinnier than usual with no frizz after. My hair has loose curls when air dried. If you shuve the iron between your hair without sectioning it into small pieces like you are suppose to it will get caught in the ruinous of the iron. Section it correctly and glide it down slowly and this will not be a problem. There’s no weird smell after. Iron quality is great for the price. Goes all the way up to 30, light weight so not heavy. Let me preface with - I definitely am still using mine and love it. However, a few notes: -the iron doesn’t feel like it clasps together securely or completely. I feel like I have to “grip” harder to make it work -the heat panels are not totally covered on the sides. I like this because I usually flip my ends. However, I have literally gotten burned a few times by this feature -like most cheap flat irons, the heat panels peel after a while.
