This straightener is super easy to use! It beats up quickly and does a stellar job! It takes about 15 min to straighten my hair (past my shoulders, graying, with lots of short pieces that need to be tamed so it isn’t fluffy). It leaves my hair silky and smooth like it used to be! I tried another straightener but it left my hair staticky and fluffy. This inexpensive straightener is hands down the best. I have accidentally turned it off because of where the button is so you do have to watch out for that. But that’s a bearable flaw. It doesn’t snag my hair and even gives it a curl at the end if I angle it when I do the final pull through. Make sure you dry your hair before straightening. This should not be used on wet hair. I've used this brand of flat iron and this model for years. This is the third one I've purchased. It is a good value for the money, and it heats up quickly. i have curly hair, and it does a nice job of taming the frizz and creating the smooth look I prefer. I'd recommend this product.

The iron heats up quickly and works well on my medium thickness hair. There is a wide range of heat adjustment so I believe it would work as well on fine or thick hair. I took one star off because - as others have said - the tip of the plate snags your hair when placing the iron. I love this flat iron. My expensive Lange is not heating up like it used to. This flat iron layed my hair super flat, it’s easy to use, heats up super fast, and left it shinnier than usual with no frizz after. My hair has loose curls when air dried. If you shuve the iron between your hair without sectioning it into small pieces like you are suppose to it will get caught in the top or bottom of the plates. Section it correctly and glide it down slowly and this will not be a problem. There’s no weird smell after. Iron quality is great for the price. Goes all the way up to 30, light weight so not heavy.
