To note, I have very thick and wavy/straight mixed hair. I purchased this for the sole purpose of using it with the Color WOW Dream Coat. It does its job wonderfully and also dries my hair faster than I would using a regular hair dryer alone. Pros: - The paddle brush attachment allows each strand of hair to fully get immersed in hot air. No more struggling with both a hair dryer and a brush! My blow dry time went from 60 minutes to 25. (Yes, my hair is that thick!) - You get the sleek ‘flat ironed’ look in a fraction of the time! My main reason of purchasing this hair dryer brush was to minimize the time I spent after the shower treating my hair with the Color WOW Dream Coat spray. I would use a flat iron and along with sectioning my hair it would take over an hour. With the paddle brush I just have to spray the product and brush right through, and I got that beautiful sleek hair I was looking for in 25 minutes! Cons: - Very bulky. While you’re able to detach the paddle brush attachment to make travel easier, it’s still a very hefty hair dryer, along with its attached power cable. - Some of the components of the dryer are very cheap. I found the inside of the base of the hair dryer to contain cardboard that is considered a part of the product. The attachment head gets very hot due to the cheap plastic, and I found myself touching it accidentally sometimes due to how big it was. - Isn’t a very ‘hot’ hair dryer. At maximum I would say around 190 degrees. I prefer using around 410 for myself to get sleek hair, but it actually compliments the Color WOW Dream Coat as it doesn’t react to overtly high temperatures. Overall, I would recommend this hair dryer for those on a budget and want to save time with their hair care routine. I wanted a hair styler but did not want to spend a fortune on it. The raving reviews on this product made me buy it. I dont regret a bit buying it. Its perfect for my wavy hair, saves lot of time due to its 2 in 1 feature that helps drying and styling at the same time. The volumizer addition also works wonder. I have thin hair and a little blow over that area covers my scalp and makes my hair look fuller. It did a really good job of getting my natural unrelaxed hair dry and straight. It was easy to use and was able to get my hair straight fast so that I could flat iron it which made flat ironing my hair super easy. The only thing I don't like about it is the black paint on it is fading already.

This hairdryer is incredible. I had another one that was heavier and bulkier, so I hates using it bc my wrists would hurt so bad after. This hairdryer is so light and easy to use! Such a huge difference! It’s also so easy to just toss in my gym bag and use on-the-go. I love that you can swap out the attachments as well. I got the regular paddle brush which smooths my hair (maybe a little too well!), and the diffuser which gives life to my wavy-ish hair and gives me actual curls! I can’t believe I was even thinking about paying hundreds of dollars on a brush hair dryer when I got this one plus extra attachment for under $50. BUT THIS!! You won’t regret it! ... show more

This product is okay. I have thick course hair and usually need high heat for a flat iron, curling iron, hot brush to get my hair to be sleek. I used the first revlon for 2 years on my hair. And while some complained that it was too hot. It did the job great on my hair and shortened the time for me to get the job done. It died a month ago so I looked up reviews and saw great things about the knot Dr. I am debating on whether I will return this tool. The tool is light and easy to hold. It blows a lot of air but it is warm air not hot like a blow dryer. It still dried my hair and made it semi straight but I will have to go back over it with a flat iron. It took longer to get it to the dry point since the air isn’t that hot. My hair still looks a little puffy if I decide not to go over it with a flat iron which I suppose is a look I could sport. I think this will likely get returned. I wouldn’t recommend for people with thick course hair. But I think it would be great for people with thinner hair. ... show more

I bought this to use on my daughter and it doesn't get so dang hot that I'm burning her ears but it is warm enough to dry her hair quickly. Have also used on my son's shorter, thicker hair with good results. I used it myself for the first time (my hair is much straighter and longer than my kids') and I actually loved it as it helped straighten it and made using the flat iron much quicker when styling after drying. I love that I could remove the attachments making it easier to pack when traveling. My very first hot air brush was by Conair that I used for many many years before anybody else had a hot air brush on the market. Well I have purchased many different types of Hot air brushes because I can't blow dry my hair the way stylists do it with both blow dryer and brush. I like also that it has cool shot button and 3 heat choices, and I can easily switch to other heat selection because of the button position.
