My hair can't take too much heat or it will break. It takes a lot of work to blow it out which is why I was attracted to these brush and dryer combo gadgets. I used the Revlon one step 2-3 times a week for a year until I finally had to give it up because my hair was absolutely fried. The thing just gets too hot for my fine hair even on the low setting and the damage and breakage was awful. This Conair device is different! Not only is the temp control better but the air flow is much more even. The air flow between heat levels is the same which I love! I love love love that I don't have to give up power to use the low heat setting! It's also super convenient to be able to pop the brush off to rough dry my hair before using the attachments to style. The volumizing pick attachment is a game changer! I can finally get air to my roots for lift which I struggle with a lot because of the density of my hair. I used the "low" setting and was able to rough dry, style and use the volumizing pick in under 30 min. It never got too hot that I couldn't hold my hand over the brush and my hair (unlike the Revlon tool) so I felt like I had complete control the whole time. If you are looking for a gentle and versatile styler, this is it.

I shudder to think about how many $200-$300 blow dryers I purchased in the past 20 years. They all lasted a little over 2 years-about a month beyond the warranty expiration. I saw Elyse Myers review the Knot Dr. on Instagram in the spring of 2022 and threw caution to the wind. The Knot Dr. did not disappoint! I have a lot of hair (~3X the average white woman, according to my stylist). It is colored/highlighted, naturally curly and fine in texture, except for the occasional coarse gray hair (I’m 49). Left to it’s own devices, my hair looks like a sheep’s a$$. On top of that, I have rheumatoid arthritis, which makes holding onto a heavy hair dryer with one hand while gripping a brush handle in the other a literal pain. The Knot Dr. is lightweight and having the wider “barrel” to hold onto it is super helpful when your hands don’t work like they used to. I generally allow my hair to air dry 75% or so, then get to work in sections. It takes me about 20-ish minutes to get my hair completely finished, and my blowouts last for 3-5 days, depending on the weather and what I’m doing. I only have 2 small gripes with the tool: 1) The removable brush head can detach if you apply too much tension while only holding the handle end of the tool. This is easily avoided if you grip the plastic nub at the end of the barrel with your other hand when applying a lot of tension. 2) The on/off/low/high switch on my unit sometimes gets hung up on low. Low and high have the same air speed, but different temps. The low setting is useless for my hair, so I really have to double-check that the switch is on high every time I turn it back on or I’ll be spinning my wheels with the blowout. The pictures show my hair 75% air dried, about 2/3 into the process and then the finished product. I didn’t use any other dryers, irons, rollers, brushes or combs. I did use a little Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Peptide Rescue and a few sprays of Bumble & Bumble Primer. Conclusion: After a year+ of use, this affordable tool has been a game-changer for me, my wimpy hands and my naturally unruly hair. Highly recommend!

I bought this Knot Dr. to replace another, different but similar type of one that I loved but only lasted me 6 months. This product is fine, but I don't like it as much as my previous model. My biggest complaints are: 1) This is a two-piece unit, and, if you pull too hard with it as you are using it to comb through your hair, it will sometimes come apart; and 2) It's a little big and bulky. But, it's still working! (I ought a Conair because I've bought their blow driers many times, and, they usually last a long time.

I spent many hours looking at reviews & for the price and the reviews I seen, I thought this would be a perfect fit for me. I’ve had my blow dryer for way too long and I’ve been seeing so many YouTubers talk about these all in one blow dryer’s & I had to have one for myself! This was a gift from my mom & I do have to say it definitely is a little bit of a learning curve, but don’t worry you’ll get the hang of it. I chose this one because I love Conair & the I loved the color. I liked that this one had all the settings on the handle , instead of the bottom. Ideal for all hair types, this brush features two heat settings and a cool setting, plus a volumizing attachment; Ceramic coated barrel and ionic generator add volume and shine. I really love that you can detach the head and use the volumizing pick or quickly dry your hair with the end. I really feel that this made my hair more shiny & definitely gave my thin short hair some volume. My tip is to wait until your hair is 80% dry before using the brush to style. Guys this would be a great gift for your girlfriend/ wife for Valentine’s Day with fast shipping & or even her birthday. This would also be a great grift for Mother’s Day. I have chronic pain , fibromyalgia , arthritis & more and I’d say this really helped me personally be able to get that salon blowout without the pain of holding of brush and a hair dryer. This was so helpful! I’m trying to take better care of myself and this makes it easy to do so. I’d recommend getting a heat protectant for any styling product. I love that you can use this on days that you don’t have time to wash your hair as well. I’ve had this for about a month or so now and so far so good & I’d definitely recommend!

I've fought frizzy hair for as long as I can remember. I've used the Instyler to smooth my hair for years, and it's worked pretty well. However, I think I've recently damaged a section of my hair, compliments of too much heat from the Instyler. My hair is never smoother than when my hair stylist blows it out, but I'm just not good at blow drying. I thought I'd try a blower brush, and did a lot of research. I didn't want to spend a fortune, I just wanted to try something different, easy, and that would put less heat on my hair. Several of the reviews I read for Conair's Dr. Knot were what sealed the deal for me purchasing this. I was surprised how much faster my hair dries, and even though my hair is just about chin length, the brush attachment does an amazing job at smoothing. It seems to be plenty of power without putting too much heat out. I love that it also has settings. I've not mastered the comb lift attachment, but that's not something I really need for my style, which is pretty much your basic smooth bob. The price for something so effective is phenomenal. You don't need to spend over a hundred dollars to get an effective, quality, easy to use brush dryer/styler. Take it from someone who has always struggled with hair that reacts badly to humidity, this gizmo is a gem!

This product is okay. I have thick course hair and usually need high heat for a flat iron, curling iron, hot brush to get my hair to be sleek. I used the first revlon for 2 years on my hair. And while some complained that it was too hot. It did the job great on my hair and shortened the time for me to get the job done. It died a month ago so I looked up reviews and saw great things about the knot Dr. I am debating on whether I will return this tool. The tool is light and easy to hold. It blows a lot of air but it is warm air not hot like a blow dryer. It still dried my hair and made it semi straight but I will have to go back over it with a flat iron. It took longer to get it to the dry point since the air isn’t that hot. My hair still looks a little puffy if I decide not to go over it with a flat iron which I suppose is a look I could sport. I think this will likely get returned. I wouldn’t recommend for people with thick course hair. But I think it would be great for people with thinner hair.

I wash my hair at night, dampen it in the morning then use the Infinitipro to dry and style. I have medium length hair and it’s so quick and easy to dry and style. I had been using a different brant of brush-blow dryer combination and loved the results, but always was coming close to burning my fingers when trying to manipulate the brush too close to the heat source. And I worried that it might be causing damage to my hair -- a thought that was confirmed by my hairdresser. So, when I was reading reviews on this brand and saw a few mentions about the temperature options, I decided to try it. Best ... decision ... EVER. This brush styles my hair in the same manner, in the same amount of time, but with far less damaging heat. On the "medium" setting, which is what I use, I can easily manipulate the brush to help me catch sections of hair near the base of my neck (you'll see from the photos that I wear a shorter style). I actually feel like this product, when used on "medium," emits far less heat than most blow dryers. (It does have a "high" setting which is hotter, but not nearly as finger-burning-hot as my other blow dryer/brush combo.) I liked the root-lift tool (although I don't use it all the time, and I also purchased the diffuser, because my husband has curly hair and I do a "beach wave" with mine once in a while. TIPS: Use a blow dryer to partially dry your hair before styling with this (especially for people with lots of hair, like me). It will significantly decrease your styling time. Also, I do my hair in sections, pinning up the top as I do the bottom layer, then moving up layer by layer. By the time I am nearly done, there is a "rectangle" of hair surrounding my part -- from the back to the front -- that is remaining. I section that into three or four pieces, starting at the back and finishing at the front. Love this dryer brush so much that I sent one to my "sister from another mister" to try!
