So I've always wanted to have a Bonsai tree for my desk because I found them rather cool. And as much as getting one already all grown up, I find starting from scratch to be so much more interesting. So when I found this starter kit, this was perfect for me. The kit comes with pretty much everything you need to grow your very own tree. The instruction paper gives you useful instructions and resources to help educate newbies. There's also a few different kind of trees you can grow as well. I can't speak on how well the trees grow, since that will take some time and will depend on how well you care for said tree as well. Overall, I'm very happy with with this kit and looking forward to being a tree dad.

I am uncertain how to gift this. Bonsai should be a long-term commitment, a multi-generational commitment. Does that make it a blessing or a curse? Should I keep it, grow it, and pass it on? This is a starter kit. It won't take long for the plants to grow to be too large for their small pots, and the new pots will be too large for the crate. I know bonsai trees should not get terribly large, and this may be their only repotting. Still, you'll want to start looking for their forever home. That's enough worrying. First, who will I be sharing this with?

I love this set! it has everything you need to get started and is great for plant lovers. Very fun kit overall and I cant wait to see the progress of these little trees growing. Makes a nice gift as well for a plant lover.

We are just starting this so we don't know of the seeds are going to sprout but the set is awesome. It comes with plenty of seeds of each kind, a well made wooden box, small grow bags for each kind, mini garden tools, dirt, spray bottle and a easy to understand how to guide. Would make a great gift. Will update on how seeds do
