I just finished a hatch of eggs and I am not satisfied with this unit, it was a pain in the butt struggle the whole time. 1. the temperature kept fluctuating and the alarm kept going off almost everyday. 2. Moisture wouldn't keep steady. 3. No timer for days. 4. Can't throughly clean the top, no way to get under the top plastic part by the motor. 5. Top don't lock into place and falls off easy. I would return but my chicks just hatched and find out I'm past time to return,by just a few days.. I hate this incubator and wouldn't advise anyone else to get this cheep made unit, not worth the money.

My 4 year old loves the movie Migration and had been asking me for weeks if she could have an egg out of the fridge to sit on because she really, really, really wanted to hatch one. I told her the best way I could that it just doesn't work that way and she cannot hatch the groceries - fast forward to our visit to grandmas (who has land and chickens), naturally we came home with 3 possibly fertilized chicken eggs! So what was a girl to do other than jump on Amazon and find an inexpensive incubator that can arrive fast!? This was the lucky winner and it did not disappoint! I had never in my life tried to hatch eggs, let alone under so much pressure, lol. This was easy to assemble. The brand/seller provided a video that was super helpful in making sure I assembled correctly. The temp and humidity buttons are easy to use if you need to adjust settings. It was small enough to sit on my counter in our small kitchen. It was quiet. I'd forget it was there sometimes. I filled the water jug all the way up when I set it up and I had to turn around and fill it all the way up once more that same night. After that I think I maybe had to fill it 4 more times throughout the 21 days. The eggs rotated nicely. I left the machine on the preset settings which was 100*F and 60% humidity. I used the light feature to candle the eggs a few times to see if they were indeed fertile. I was able to see veins in 2 of the 3 eggs using that feature so it did the job. My 3rd egg just wasn't fertilized so it wasn't the incubators fault that one didn't hatch. On day 19 I removed the orange rotation device and bumped the humidity to 65% (because my research suggested doing so) and magically on day 21 I noticed the cracks and had 2 healthy baby chicks!! Before seeing those cracks I honestly wasn't sure if there were live chickens in there or not! After they hatched they were dry and fluffy within 12 hours so I moved them to a brooder box. All in all, I'd say this is a nice little starter incubator!

Really impressed with this incubator. Got up to temp and humidity fast and held steady. Hatching went smoothl,Only thing is the humidity sometimes gets a little too high, but that’s easy to manage. Overall, works as it should and definitely helped me get those eggs to hatch.

This incubator is seriously the easiest thing to use. The directions are tiny to read, but I still got through it. I like how it comes with a little calander book for different types of animals. I used it for baby chicks. I have the 12 ct and the 22 ct egg incubator. It's easy to set the temp and humidity. It's so hot here in hawaii, that I pretty much didn't use the humidity piece that looks like a flower. The egg turner works great. The calendar shows when to candle the egg and the lock down time. I set it and left it and it kept it temp at the right spot. I've hatched a lot of batches of baby chicks from this incubator. I recommend it to people I know who want to get into incubating their eggs. It's easy to clean. The size was perfect once I switched to the 22 ct. It's also a nice shape and I'm glad it's clear so it's easy to watch what happens.
