  • Our whole family loves this incubator!
Color: Green Mandarine
We absolutely love this incubator! As a family who loves hands on learning and activities, this was the perfect addition to our home science adventures. From the moment we opened the box, everything was intuitive and easy to follow. The instruction manual made setup super easy. What really stood out was how versatile this little incubator is. We started with quail eggs, but we’re already planning a round of duck eggs next. The adjustable roller design makes it so easy to switch between different egg types. Plus, the external water filling system is genius—it kept the humidity steady without disturbing the eggs, which really helped us feel confident during the whole process. We LOVED the chimney style egg candler. Watching the embryos develop through the clear window was absolutely mesmerizing it turned into a nightly ritual in our house. And let me tell you, when those first peeps broke through the shells, we were all cheering! The temperature and humidity display gave us peace of mind the entire time. It’s clear that this incubator was thoughtfully designed to give both beginners and more experienced users a reliable, fun, and successful hatching experience. Highly recommend for families, classrooms, or anyone looking to connect with the miracle of life in a truly interactive way! ... show more

  • Cute, simple and easy to use
Color: Green Mandarine
The media could not be loaded. This is probably the cutest incubator that I’ve ever used. I have two other incubators that hold 25 and 40 eggs but they aren’t as cute as this one. This one only holds 10 chicken eggs (less if they’re bigger eggs like turkey or duck) but ten is plenty for kids to have fun hatching. This little incubator has a built in candler and I really like that so you don’t have to use a flashlight. Kids like candling the eggs so they can see the baby chicks start to form. It has two easy access doors for adding water to keep the humidity right and an easy to read temperature display. There is a little round green thing with a piece sticking out on it that is loose in the bag and this is the piece that turns the eggs. This piece (on mine) was in the bag so I had to push it onto the part sticking out of the motor that is underneath the hood part (I added a picture of this piece after I attached it). There is a basket that sits on the tray and you put the separating strips into that so that the eggs don’t hit each other. This little piece that you put on the motor (shown in last pic) has a stick part that goes into the hole in the basket so when it turns it very slowly moves the basket back and forth and that keeps the eggs moving. Very simple incubator and very easy to use. I really like it and will use it in addition to my other two. ... show more

  • Compact and effective.
Color: Green Mandarine
I’ve had this incubator in use for 4 days now and we’re starting to see some veins develop. We fit 10 large chicken eggs, but it is a little tight. With this incubator, you have to regulate the humidity on your own. To do so, you have to adjust the little window and figure out how full to keep the water reservoir. Easy enough once you play around with it. With the window closed, it brings the settings to 100.2 degrees and humidity to 69%. Opening the window drops both the temperature and humidity, I played around with the window and at first, the best setting I could get was 99.5 and 60%. After a while, as the water in the reservoir diminished a little bit, the humidity dropped to 55%. Perfect. Learning this, I personally don’t keep the water filled at max. You can’t see the water, tho, so I just add a little more when the humidity drops to the 40s. I’m doing this maybe once a day. I’m turning the eggs in the morning and the evening. I appreciate that the incubator beeps at you when the temp or humidity drops too low- this happened once and I’m glad it did because I hadnt check on it for while. I will mention that you don’t get a very clear view of the eggs, which is something I didn’t realize I’d miss, but aside from that and maybe the egg capacity, I don’t have any complaints. This is a good value for its price, easy to manage, and I suspect I’ll have some new chicks here in about 17 days. ... show more

  • Good quality
Color: Green Mandarine
It's a solid small incubator. The tray that it comes with to hold the eggs is nice, and the fact that it has a candler built in the top is a nice added feature. It's quiet, and doesn't take up too much space on the counter. It seems well insulated, so it should hatch healthy chicks. The automatic turner is nice (once I did figure it out lol). The display that showed the temperature and humidity is a nice added bonus, so its less hassle than others trying to maintain temperature. The spouts for adding more water was also a nice feature so I don't have to disrupt the temperature to add water. ... show more

  • Saved the day.
Color: Green Mandarine
I ended up using this with no time to prepare by testing or reading the directions. I had a hen go broody. After about 2 weeks she stopped setting. I felt the eggs and they had definitely gone cold. I let her out of our separate little hatching house, but I forgot to clean out the eggs. Well sure enough, the next week I heard a little chick tweeting away, all by itself in that nest. I grabbed the chick and eggs and gave them to my 7yo daughter to hold and keep warm. I set up a brooder for the chick and got out the incubator for the 2 eggs that were still viable. The incubator was quick to setup and easy to understand. 1 1/2 days later we had 2new chicks that we saved. I have tested the other functions and it all works. This isn't a big incubator, but my intention was to incubate a batch of eggs whenever a hen went broody, that way I could have her raise all of the chicks together. ... show more

This incubator is definitely designed with kids in mind! Its barnlike shape is extremely cute and it even includes some stickers for kids to play with. This incubator has an impressively simple yet effective design, with everything you need to keep an eye on temperature and humidity with automatic egg turning built in. For the price, it's definitely worth it if you want a small, compact yet effective incubator to use with your kids. ... show more
