Used once so far. Easy to operator. Temperature & humidity works well. Says fits 24 eggs but I was lucky to fit 19 chicken eggs. The fan is to low. If the chicks stood their feathers were being pulled into the fan and if the flipped onto their backs their toes would catch in the fan. Cleaning the fan area is difficult.

This incubator does not hold 24 standard sized chicken eggs. Also - and most important - it is dangerous when hatching starts. Chicks get their feet hung in the fan. The first one that did it - I thought it was a freak accident - then it happened to several more. Do NOT reccomend. I will spare you the photos.

Solid incubator. This is my first time hatching eggs (runner ducks), and the incubator has worked well. Holds the temp in our basement, which is slightly colder than the living area. Egg rotation works as expected. Just be careful that when placing the lid back that you insert the prong to the egg rack. My one complaint is that the gravity water bottle does not work on mine if the bottle is fully inserted into the slot. I have to lift it slightly in order for the mechanism to refill the water. It will stay that way and work as long as it is not disturbed. I would recommend the product with the caveat of the water refill concern.

Humidity & temperature are a little tricky to get used to compared to other incubators we have used. I suggest never filling to the max because the space isn’t big enough after hatching while chicks dry out. When hatching ducks the babies are too tall to stand up to stretch out.

UPDATE: the incubator had these small plastic tabs semi blocking the vents of the incubator. Once I popped them out, the humidity stabilized to exactly where it should be, so, I am revising my review and raising my star level...I did not loose any eggs and they are due to hatch in 6 days. I am having difficulty getting the humidity below 55%. the water is in the A slot, and I have tried using paper towels to create a bit of a gap to allow the humidity to go down more...but it is not working. the vents are wide open and still the humidity is too high.
